If the MiniStation Air is running firmware version 1.2.6 or earlier, update the firmware.
Updating from your PC is recommended because it makes the update process faster and simpler. To update, go to the Buffalo website and download the latest firmware.
If you do not have a PC, you can update the firmware via the MiniStation Air2 app; open the app and follow the message dialog to update the firmware.
- Sped up listing the items in picture viewer, music player, and video player.
- Added the function to update the MiniStation Air firmware via the app. When the app connects to the MiniStation Air, the update will start automatically if its firmware version is 1.2.6 or earlier.
- Now compatible with iOS 8.
- Fixed some bugs.
- When a song in the MiniStation Air is deleted from the "Music Player" page, songs that belong to the same artist as the deleted song may become invisible. If this occurs, navigate to another screen and return to music player again to show the songs correctly.
