  • Not bad, but not great.

My huge gripe is that this app is for meeting others through similar tastes in music. The one thing it’s supposed to do, it doesn’t. I’ve gone through countless women’s profiles that have absolutely NO music in common with mine. What a terrible algorithm they’ve got going on. If this actually worked and matched me with profiles that had the same or similar artists, I’d be on it more or *gasp* May have already met someone!

  • Buggy but interesting

I got sent the same song over 5 times. It is super interesting though and has a lot of potential. What a great idea for people that love tunes.
  • Where have you been all my life?

This is a dream app, I can’t believe it exist, very impressed, as music is so important to me and seeing guys placing their vibe taste in music it only gives them more appeal.
When someone shares a song with you with a written message with it, that is such a cool feature to have in your hands, it makes you feel like you’re really connecting with the person, music enters the soul and suddenly you feel like you’ve found your soulmate. I’d rather have this then someone starting a conversation with then same old ‘how are you’. This is revolution of social media and dating. THANK YOU!

  • Good... but shoots itself in the foot

It’s a great idea to connect people through their love of music. Yet this app falls short of good in a few areas. For example, the new app just gathers all the sections of the former app and puts them into one long stream of text, lacking headings or any other resemblance of a person’s original profile. As another example, the app has this nasty habit of letting you know, *after* you have typed this long, thought out message to someone, that the recipient does not accept messages from people in your demographics; it would have been nice to know this beforehand. Again, great idea to connect people through music, but the app’s UI (more like the app’s MVC) needs improving! When the mechanics don’t work, the end result is not easily achieved.

  • Cool website, crappy app...

Personally, the app is so buggy that the minute I start an interesting conversation, most of the time we switch platform to talk. I think you should definitely work on it...
It’s so limited and most of the time I don’t get the notifications.
  • Fun Dating App

I actually thought of this idea a few years ago but procrastinated lol. Its fun hearing peoples taste in music while searching for a match. The app works great no issues.
  • Home of the Creative Souls

If you are artsy and truly into music, this is the place to meet like minded men and women. I am enjoying my first week on this app and discovering some cool new music artists. I wish there was more diverse matches but hey, we can’t have it all. One thing I would suggest is to have a rewind/reverse swipe. I have swiped left frequently when I didn’t want too.

  • Basically another Tinder

Was hoping to use this app to search for/find other people by their musical interests. Instead this is just another version of Tinder except artists/songs appear at the bottom of profiles. So in the end I don’t really save any time.. in fact I spend more time looking at pictures and then hoping their music matches mine which is almost never. Why not put in a feature to filter out people who have completely different musical tastes from what I’m looking for to match with? What’s the point of having an app that features musical compatibility if you love underground techno but keep finding people that love Post Malone and J Cole???

  • Great app for meeting new people!

Out of all the apps I've tried so far I spend most of my time on this one. Matching with music taste is different and really sets it apart. I've been on it a day and have already made friends. There are also a ton of members. I haven't found myself swiping back into profiles I've seen previously.
  • five stars!

Tastebuds is a great app for music lovers who at the same time gets a chance to check out those around then that have the same taste in music. but in my case, living in saudi arabia, i have very limited choice of the matter. those who are nearby cannot really ‘connect’ because of the culture. but still, i am pleased to get to share my music & sometimes discover other bands i havent even listen to or heard of but are interesting enough to listen to. while scrolling i noticed i am ONE OF THE OLDEST users of this app at 55. but it doesnt bother me, as long as we share the same tastebuds, right? 😊
