  • Annoying.

Is sort of fun for about two minutes then simply gets annoying when you are given a numbers and expected to remember which rules they correspond to. This quickly degenerates into simply mashing all the icons in no particular order out of some desire to make it stop; eventually one is forced to question what one is doing with one's life wasting time on pointless games.

  • Fantastic

What a fantastic game! How have I missed this??!! Memory puzzle games are the best and this is a fantastic example! Treat yourself to this
  • Absolutely ecstatic.

A glorious puzzle game that anyone can play. No special reasoning skills required: Rules! is about colors, images and numerical reasoning as simple as "tap the odd numbers."

The game plays out in sets of ten rounds. In the first, you tap the numbered tiles (with animals, monsters and objects on them, the same each round--you'll develop a relationship with the unicorn tens, the phone nines, the mustache 8s and the 7 foxes) in descending order. In round two, you tap the green tiles first--then you follow rule 1. But it doesn't remind you what rule one is. In round 3, odds must go, then rule two and rule one must be followed. You'll find yourself chanting "whales, animals, nines, the remaining odds, greens, descending."

I've played a lot of iOS games, but none have even approached Rules!.

  • Super cute

This is a fun and gentle game, that manages to pose a creative challenge at the same time. Even though you have to remember the rules and are up against a timer it isn't horrible and stressful. Very enjoyable and beautifully designed highly recommend this game.
  • Fun anywhere anytime

I forgot about time when I place on bus. Almost miss my stop.
  • Enjoyable pick up and play game

Very enjoyable game that can be played in short bursts.
  • Top-notch quality; just wish it was actually fun

Everything about this game’s implementation is exemplary. The looks is fresh and distinctive. The induction process is smooth. The animations are delightful without being intrusive. AAA quality all the way.

Unfortunately, all this love and attention has been wasted on a game concept that just isn’t very much fun to play. If you like Simon and its thousands of imitators, you’ll probably like this. But who actually enjoys playing Simon? The basic idea is that you stuff your short-term memory with rules until it overflows. Sure, you can use mnemonic tricks to pack more rules into your brain, but that feels a lot more like work than play.

  • I love this game, but...

I love this game (the theme music and satisfying sound effects especially), but there is no way to save progress so I've stopped playing it. It gets boring to start from zero over and over again, especially if you finally reached a new level. Please change this and I'll be back to being addicted!
  • Addictive

Super fun, very polished, people who are rating it poorly because they are bad at it should be ashamed of themselves (particularly now that the easier modes have been added). One small logical bug that drives me a little batty... How can an astronaut be a mammal if it's not an animal??
  • Tricky and fun - a great game!

This s game is well worth the price of admission! Usually the best games are simple, elegant but really hard to master. For me Rules! Is all of this plus a game that is truly unique to modern portable platforms.
The creators have been very creative in their rule construction and i have found the game extremely addictive. At certain points (I think about every ten levels - I have only made it to level 26 so far) you can forget about the rules of the previous levels which helps!!!
No opportunity to save the game but heck guys! It's a memory game!! So this is the right way to go IMO.
    Great game five stars
