Block you from playing events
There is a team event that occurs every Thursday and last 5 days or whenever the event is completed. There are a possible 12 players per team. My team has 9 players. The event is called “bake a cake” if you bake at least one tier you can receive any and all rewards earned by the team. I built 4 tiers of cake on first day, I returned a few hours later and event was closed and said “coming soon”. I contacted support and was told to try a few fixes. I did the fixes and no event. I reached back out to support and was told that this was a design and not a flaw and it was to allow more players to play and earn rewards. My team isn’t full and no one is prevented from trying to build a tier. Most weeks only 4-5 of the team tries to build a tier. I play for entertainment and do not cheat. I have even paid to play. Punishing one player when others don’t care to play the event is not right. If you want to encourage others to play the event, I am thrilled by that as it helps when team members contribute. Seems like a strange and mean spirited way to run an event.

Sad. Really freaking sad.
This is THE ONLY GAME IVE KEPT EVER and you guys just want to make everything harder on everyone? Stop being greedy. You’re millionaires by now. You’re the highest playing game there is so please PLEASE stop making all of the higher levels impossible to beat without spending money. I’ve spent 15 dollars today alone but not everyone has that luxury and everything is hard right now. This is a getaway for people. It shouldn’t be that expensive for the most popular game out there. We’re the ones who are struggling so please try to do better. It wasn’t like this before and I know that for a fact. You’re not that hard up for money I can PROMISE YOU THAT. Just let the people play their game and actually enjoy it. Stop making things harder than they have to be. This used to be a happy place for everyone to get away and you’ve chosen to make it impossible for anyone to play. Why is that? Doesn’t make sense. Please fix this. You don’t need to screw people over to this extent. We just want to play the one game we enjoy and I’m speaking for myself, but I’ve looked all over and can’t find another game I can really get into. Be decent human beings and understand that you’ll get your support but to our right screw everyone over that’s supported you for years is WRONG

Good way to unwind from a busy day and start relaxing whilst keeping the mind working but not bustling. Pity the game has started cheating by stating “you missed a day” when it first started happening I was unsure, so started writing down and taking photos. Maybe it’s time to give up all King games. Will double check with a few more friends but I’m over the cheating

Getting deleted
After playing this game for YEARS, I am going to delete all versions because of the following reasons:
1. Is something happens and you have to switch between your apps i.e. you have a call, the game restarts and not only you lose your activity but actual boosts that you’ve earned through playing for hours. Do the developers expect us to only play these games and put everything else on halt?
2. previously we used to gain quite a lot by playing the game but in the few recent years they only effective way to get anything is via purchasing. I don’t mind spending a bit of money on games but the boosts won’t even last long since the difficulty of the levels is unbeatable (sometimes taking days) and without winning there’s no satisfaction in playing
Because of these reasons and after years of memories with these games sadly I’ll have to leave

Significant drop off in quality
I love all things candy crush, but recently i’ve been noticing a ton of problems with the way the game has changed for the worse. It’s very clear that the developer of this game is doing everything in their power to squeeze every bit of money they can from every part of this game. No longer can you play this game for long periods of time because there are levels designed to be borderline unwinnable so you have to use in game currency or ads to pass it. I don’t know who decided that actively aggravating their player base was a good idea, but whoever made that decision should be slapped. Easy levels are now extremely difficult at times, with the developer giving the player fewer moves and more obstacles. Yes, every game needs hardship, but with the endless expanse of levels in this game and only giving five lives, it’s clear the developer is just trying to prod you into spending money. I remember when this game was extremely simple. It was better then than it is now. Too many complexities and other aspects that are just too pointless to use. Extremely disappointed with how the people running this game have decided to take an anti-player stance. Do not recommend getting this game as there are better games out there that don’t manipulate you into spending money.

Be Prepared to Lose
This game can be fun. However, once you start getting to higher levels, be prepared to have glitch after glitch that closes the game ensuring your progress, boosters and consecutive playing days are interrupted making it harder to win, requiring you spend more and more money. I have had numerous incidents of “glitches” costing me money. I stupidly kept putting money into the game hoping that it was an isolated circumstance. Yet it continued. Then today once I got to 10,500 I was given a special discounted award. It was supposed to be available for 2 days to buy over and over at the price of $4.99 for 100 coins and 10 of each booster. It is an awesome deal. If the game didn’t have another “glitch”. When I purchased it 1 time within the first hour of receipt it went away and has not come back. The game is set up to make you lose and spend more and more money. I am done. Get money from another sucker. An incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. The game also doesn’t give you any kind of option to get an issue addressed. There is no way to contact anyone to fix it. Excellent customer service.

Disappointing fast
Started off well, seamed fun and easy and I loved wizzing though the levels but that all changed quickly once getting past level 50… I’ve used up all my gold bars and refuse to spend any money on this game. Been stuck on level 57 for days, took days to get past level 53, (used the gold bars to work my way from 53 up to 57) considering there’s 100s and 100s of levels, already I’m completely put off and sick. This should still be easy. Instead this is now the opposite of fun. It’s just frustrating and now I’m bored and p*ssed off. If I can’t get past this level within the next try then I’m deleting the game. Just a waste of time and like I said just not fun! So just a warning don’t bother, better games out there

Wow candy crush soda changed
I’m an old school fan candy crush soda, and Years ago My first review of this games was five ⭐️ what changed ? Personally I’m surprised nobody talks about this situation but candy crush soda turned a 180 it became extremely boring. Sorry but it’s true It from being the best candy crush game to the worst. They completely destroyed the old map’s design, the old map and world that drawn the players to have an adventure in a fantasy candy soda world to see NPCs each specking to you to going through portals and a lot more it’s all gone. The new revamp game is so underwhelming and boring it isn’t even a map at all. Too the creator of this special game the vibe just doesn’t feel the same it just makes the game discouraging and unplayable it isn’t just the same of what it use to be. What players loved and what made the game so special to begin with I don’t like it at all and so many people in community don’t like it ether I get they wanted to try something new with the game but it kinda comes across as an insult to the players that been there form the start in its former glory. I really hope they bring back or remake the story and the old maps but if they keep this one screen world I’m afraid me and many other players can’t play the game anymore it isn’t the same as it use to be.

Becoming tedious
4/7/24 The developer is still messing with the players making it overly difficult to pass a level as in PAY FOR PLAY. Sometimes it’s ok, but they will jerk you around by having the last level before the finish be seemingly normal but actually hard or super hard. Just stop it. I’m getting to the point where I no longer care if I play because I’m being jerked around. Previous:The ratings for this game may be a bit deceptive because I notice my previous negative rating has been removed. The game has too many hard and super hard levels, making it impossible to earn any of the free helps that can get you past it. I don’t know exactly what makes the developer think getting you stuck for days is fun, because it’s not. For instance in one of the side games that you can earn some helps, they continually give you objectives of passing levels, passing level hard levels with three stars, or gold tickets which you can’t get if you’re stuck on a super hard level and I think the developer needs to definitely be slapped back for doing that. When it becomes all about the developer getting money as opposed to having an enjoyable game then the game becomes, as I said, just plain tedious. I’m getting to the point I don’t even care about keeping up my daily streaks.
