  • Good game ruined by £££££

I’ve played this game off and on for around 5 years. It’s fun and well thought through apart from the payment aspect which has been progressively making the game less fun to play. Players have very advanced buildings and vehicles but with very few games played? Or you can have the perfect start to a game, collect all boxes and invest quickly in your army but your opponent is miles ahead of you? At the end of the game you can’t see how many boosts your opponent used or how much they’ve spent to get ahead. Unless you’re going to throw a significant amount of money at every game you’re going to find yourself quite frustrated.

Thanks. We value your long-term commitment but let's set the record straight: donating doesn't buy victory. No money can acquire the tactical prowess and game knowledge that seasoned players wield. Our matchmaking considers various criteria to ensure even battles. We encourage growth through experience—this is where the real advantage is gained. Thank you for being a part of our community, and we wish you countless more engaging battles and evolving strategies as you continue to play. Keep battling and growing, Commander!
  • Just more pay to win

Game was fun at first but now I’m either against someone way worse or way better than me, like 4 infinity on one and still lose kind of better…seems ridiculous now. It’s way too expensive to upgrade or progress. I honestly feel bad for the people who are in the top ranks. They must have spent thousands at this point. In the end, it’s sadly just more of the same old…cool at first then a realization of how much of a waste of time it really was.

Thanks. As you advance in Art of War 3, your weapons become more formidable and sophisticated, leading to a proportional rise in their upgrade costs and time requirements. The necessary Credits for making upgrades can be earned from various cases in AOW3 completely free, the main thing is active play. In-app purchases are available in all mobile games, so your indignation is quite surprising. Our game stays completely free-to-play, so every Commander has an opportunity to demonstrate his battle skills. Donating does not give any edge in battle, but simply speeds up the profile development. Your success depends only on your proper tactics.
  • Well done

Very nice reminds me of StarCraft which i still play. You made the controls not annoying and easy to use on tablet etc. keep up the good work, maybe make a Warcraft 3 type game as well or company of heroes similar stuff like that if u guys ever bored lol. Anyways def recommend and surprisingly no forced ads

  • Always waiting. Fun but not fun really. Feels like you’re being manipulated to spend money

The game is fun at first then it feels like you’re always playing bots and ai. I have downloaded it a couple times and started over over the years You always just sit there and wait and then after you’re done waiting it’s just a constant losing thing. I think they want you to get fustrated and spend a bunch of money to move things along faster. One thing these people have honed in on is that time is precious and they want to take as much of yours as possible. The command and conquer games wer fun because they were fair and you played real people but this game feels like an emotional manipulation to get you to just start dumping as much money into it as possible. It’s a love hate relationship with this game because of what it should be

  • Great game overall

Similar to C&C which is a game I grew up loving as a kid. The game play itself is responsive. Lots of of different units that you can utilize which I like as well. The campaign is pretty cool make it feel like a worth while game.

My few gripes are that there really isn’t a non PvP option other than the campaign missions from what I’ve seen. I’d want to be able to play against a computer and just spend sometime building a base and etc instead of either doing a mission or going into PvP match

My other gripe are the ads. Horrendously glitchy to get out of. I understand it’s most likely not the developers fault for this but still. You spend 30-45 secs or more at times just trying to get out of an ad and you can’t do you have to force close the app and reboot it and you don’t get the additional reward after. Kind of pain.

As for everything else the game is pretty solid. I will say it can be pay to win if your a big spender but if you grind the game you can definitely hold your own against other players who spend, you just got put in a lot of hours and stack of your buffs I guess. Not a big of the buffs but whatever.

AOW3 is created for devices based on Android and iOS. Unfortunately, the game does not support macOS. Please try playing on the platforms for which the game was intended. There is hope AOW3 will earn a more high rating from you then.
  • The new C&C that was much awaited!

Awesome app for mobile. It should be amongst some top 10 on the Apple store! As a joke, the only thing this game lacks is communication between factions to actually prevent the gameplay! ô.0

    Developer Response

Thank you for your kind words. We noticed that your score does not quite match what you wrote. Will you look for the remaining stars? ;) As for communication between factions, our game has a developed chat menu that allows players to communicate all over the world, regardless of the faction they have chosen.
  • Very well thought out

I appreciate that your not slammed to purchase and have choices with watching advertisements etc. I will be purchasing soon to support

    Developer Response

Thank you! Indeed, our game is completely free-to-play, and there are lots of ways to obtain in-game items, including ad viewing. Have a nice game, Commander! (づ ◕‿◕ )づ
  • Excessively play-to-win

Probably the best RTS on mobile right now but the rate of progression is so slow in terms of upgrades that you constantly feel forced to pay. Someone who pays will earn a significant advantage in 1v1 there are even in-game power ups that can be purchased so someone willing to pay extra can always swing a match in their favour it’s kind of ridiculous. Yes, if an opponent has bought in-game power ups and hero mana, you will be disadvantaged. Also, it’s clear that some opponents in 1v1 are bots which is kind of a downer.

Thanks. In-app purchases are available in all mobile games, so your indignation is quite surprising. Our game stays completely free-to-play, so every Commander has a lot of ways to obtain in-game items. Donating does not give players any edge in battle, as no money input can compensate the lack of battle skills. Your success is forged only by your determination and masterful strategies. As for having a battle with a bot, such encounter may happen only in the Campaign missions or in a Skirmish battle.
