  • Broke

Crashes every time on my iPad mini
  • Not stable on IPad 2 IOS 9.3.5

I wish creators would be Upfront about "subscriptions" ....when setting up I was only able to program 1 radio button. Any more required a subscription, that failed to open so I have no idea of cost to advise you.

Further the app was very unstable, the one radio station I programmed from their World/Australia/ selected station would play nothing. Also any attempt to set the alarm to play a stored tune would just close the app.

After 20 mins fiddling, totally removed it.

  • A gem

How rare to find something that works so well and does everything one could wish. Just takes a little time to set up and figure out where the tap what. There are no instructions. I gladly paid for the “premium “ fee
  • How can it wake you up if it won’t let you sleep

This app works fairly well as an alarm clock but not to wake you up because the design breaks all of the rules of letting you sleep.

The display is blue-white which is the worst choice. No option to select red to protect your night vision and Circadian rhythm. There is no way to turn off the bright weather banner or to turn off other unneeded display elements when used as a bedside clock.

I gave them an extra star for NOT prompting me to rate the app. In case you think that’s not worth a thanks: One other alarm app actually did not work because I awoke to find a message to rate the app!

  • Love it.

I use this app daily and love waking up to my favorite radio stations.
  • Doesn’t Actually Go Off

The radio doesn’t actually start playing if the phone is locked...so it’s an alarm that doesn’t go off unless you’re already awake to open your phone...
  • Great features

I love the auto-dim. I set my dim and brighten times and don’t need to fiddle with the brightness every bedtime. The alarms work well. Best bedside clock of the 15 that I’ve tried.
  • Can't set to use radio

The interface is pretty but obscure, and the guide appears on first use but can never be seen again. I simply can't set it to use "wake to music" — I select a radio station, I hear it, I touch "save", and the setting simply goes back to using an alarm instead of that radio station. There appears to be no way to contact the developer. So until this bug is fixed, this app simply replicates the functionality of the Apple alarm clock.

  • My favorite most used app

Not sure what the negatives are talking about. Easy to set up, you label the buttons yourself, and it works great. I plug it into a Bose sound dock overnight and into car power on the road, so battery use is a non-issue. I've used BCR for at least a year and love flipping among favorite radio streams around the world. I love jazz and have buttons for WBGO, Jazz24, TSF Jazz, CJRT, KKJZ, KNKX, plus one to randomly play Thelonious Monk music from my library. I'm not aware of anything remotely comparable. My most used and favorite app.

  • Battery Hog

I really liked this program. It has a wonderfully easy to use interface. I especially like how easy it is to set multiple alarms.

However, I had to delete it because it was draining my battery so quickly.

Even with the program closed & no alarms set, in one 24 hour period it was responsible for 88% of my battery use, virtually draining the battery on my iPhone 7+ while it was locked.

I also didn't care for the developer wanting $2.99 PER YEAR to disable ads & add weather.

It's worth a try......but keep a close eye on your battery. Fortunately, IOS makes it easy to tell which programs are using the most energy.
