Not happy
Guess I’m not alone in this problem of not being able to access my subscription. It’s recently been renewed and I am not able to view anything but a black screen. I’ve never had any issues with this before and now after being a subscriber for many years I can’t see anything. I hope someone out there can resolve this issue for everyone.

Not user friendly
App is no longer supported on iPad due to having an old one and no longer supporting the newer version. Due to this can only view on iPhone, struggled to login as forgot password didn’t work so had to email. Now I’m left with viewing each month of an iPhone, which is incredibly frustrating as the screen is small and having to zoom in for every single article is annoying as well, I wouldn’t recommend this app and if you can to purchase the actual magazine.

Can’t login via the login section of this app
Downloaded better homes and gardens app after subscribing with mag shop. However whenever I go to the login button of this app, I get kicked out of the app itself so now I’ve got a subscription that I can’t use anyway,I’ve done this multiple times with the same result.
So dissatisfied and disappointing.

Release dates of app versions needs to improve
I ponder why you can’t update the content of subscriptions in your app. The magazine has been available in stores and via Apple News for days (probably close to two weeks now) but via your app nothing. I update. This is for bhg mag and women’s weekly. Love the content (hence I subscribe) but super disappointed about timeliness.

Upside down pages - flip book July 2021
How do you read upside down pages on an iPad when it changes orientation page to page?
I sent feedback - note that the feedback button in the app has the wrong email address. I informed them of this but received no reply.
The response about the upside down pages was that the last section is a flip book. Clearly they don’t care that this makes this section unreadable.

Waste of money
I have numerous digital magazines without issue. In the last month three of my magazines have disappeared. All of the recommended troubleshooting has been ineffective. Emails given a stock reply and inaccurate time line. Messages virtually useless.. all stating “ their horror and distress”! Clearly this is not a new issue after reading other comments. It seems the owner ARE media haven't a clue how to run a publishing business. They are committing fraud continuing to sell digital magazines that are not fit for purpose. Stay away from this company 😡😡😡😡😡

No longer able to access magazines after app update
App updated and now cannot access magazines....rang company almost a month ago who advised technical issues and said they where working on it but still not working.
Paid for these magazines and should be able to access them...almost 12 months of subscription gone and haven’t been most current issue....NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

Ummmmm not compatible with subscribe today
Was referred to subscribe today via the BHG website to purchase a digital subscription. After working out what app I needed to view my subscription I could not create an account. I went to ‘mag shop’ as per the apps instructions to make an account however after doing this i still could not log in. After hours of frustration I am giving up and requesting a refund as I still have not been able to log into the app, download my magazine subscription or even view my subscription.
A big fan but have been left really disappointed BHG.

Do not subscribe
Avoid this subscription & just buy the paper copies, they will take your money & then delete your purchases after 15 months, I had multiple purchases but can only access the one purchased in oct 17, all previous purchases are no longer available to download.

Problem
It looks as though I am experiencing the same issue as other users. After a regular Apple update 2 years ago I no longer have access to my subscription magazines. I have done all that is required but have unsuccessfully downloaded any of my past magazines & have never had access since. It’s also a shame as prior to the update I had no issues with the app and always had access to my subscription. Now what I am experiencing is having to sign in or restore each time I open the app and no magazine access. I am really disappointed as this has been the same problem over 2 years now. I forgot to cancel my subscription last year so was automatically charged for an app I can’t use... Please resolve as it looks like there are many users having the same issue.
