  • Poor customer service and not informative

    I had no problems with this app until recently when my points in the rewards section suddenly expired with out any notice of the upcoming event. As long as I have been a customer I’ve never knew or known of those points expiring which is why it was a shock. It expired at the end of the year. I reached out to support and apparently it fell on deaf ears. I yearned those points and when you earn something you should be able to keep them and use them at your discretion. I use to promote this app to others but until they make it right with me that’s going to stop plus I am going to launch a negative campaign against them. Make it right!

    It’s a nice backup to my other cell phone one is for friends the other for business or screening calls that maybe unwanted like SPAM calls or Telemarketing calls sometimes when your very busy a unwanted call doe come in and it’s interrupting valuable time when you are busy so having a second cell number on my phone has been a reall asset

  • Kinda scammy

    The app serves its purpose. You can text free for a couple days and pay if you wanna continue. You can use credits afterwards. Either I had a bad number or the app has a lot of fake text messages and “subscriptions” being sent to you to use up all your credits and force you to buy more. I don’t see any option to remove incoming texts from numbers you don’t know. In the 3 day trial, I’ve had about 6 different numbers texting me using up all my credits. I don’t think it’s a coincidence.

  • Awful!!

    I have used the app for years for international calling. They totally lie about the free credits! Do not waste your valuable time completing the quizzes/surveys or anything else because after over an hour of your time completing several each and everyone will say you do not qualify! Prompts you to continue and complete one more thing to actually receive them only to be told the very same thing upon completion! It’s sad and pathetic to use loyal customers the way they do! I have never received any of MY “free credits” I rightfully earned! Shared the app with 20 plus friends and never received a single credit! Downloaded and completed many task.....you don’t qualify after completing! Took many surveys...after completion....do not qualify. How can you not qualify for giving your opinion which they ask for? Took many quizzes....do not qualify!! Seriously!!! Pathetic!! Doing task that should have earned me a total of over 3000 credits.....BIG 0 of those received. The only thing they honor are the .05 credits for watching a video! That part of the app is nothing but a lying, scamming, use you to get what they need but don’t honor what they are suppose to give, very sad and pathetic APP!! I’d highly advise anyone to use a different one such as TALK U who gives actual credits worth your while for watching videos etc!!

    TalkU is great I love it and enjoy using it but I have a little problem I opened an account sometimes between March 1st 2021 and made an annual subscription which was suppose to expire March 1st 2022 but the problem is i changed my phone and I can’t get back into my account cos I don’t remember any details is used in creating the account but in my App Store it still shows that my TalkU subscription is still active till 2022 please I need help getting back my account

  • My personal TalkU APP Preview THE Review;

    I find this Call & Text Free App - “TalkU-APP’s”, that is satisfying to the usages of an application for being capable of sending and receiving Via-text messages as well as making In-coming & out-going phone call with-out having any failed messages to the receiver and/or have if phone calls losing signals and/or having the potentials for calls not being able to get through to the out-goings callers party. Overall I’m going through a tiny little glimpses of not having the ability to pay anything $$$ towards my phone bill during this mont, as most would typically do in these times of struggles of not being able to make a phone bill payment(s) and so I did download this app for the usage of the ability of still being able to have social media(s) in the contents of

  • Expensive and you have to pay for every single thing

    This app offers very expensive services. Also, it only gives you virtual numbers even if they say “real number” just don’t believe it. Their numbers can’t be used with activating Whatsapp, Viber, Imo, ... etc. What’s bothering the most is that you have to pay if you want to receive a phone call though. Regarding call rates, they offer a very expensive ones. I highly recommend you to use TextPlus app to get a free virtual number such as the one you can pay for in TalkU. I also recommend you to use Boss Revolution or Viber for cheaper call rates with same or even better phone call quality. If you purchased some service and found it don’t match the description, then you can’t get a refund and the will respond with “this is against our policy”..

    Apple must remove this app from their store.

  • Fraud/Scam App! Do not download!!

    This app seemed pretty decent due to reviews so I decided to give it a try. When you first open the app, it asks you to create new number. I selected it and it gave me two options for subscription plan. First was 3 day trial(recommended) and the second option was a full months subscription. I selected the 3 day trial and used my scan to finalize... it ended up charging me for 3 full months!! Who does that? I would understand if I myself had selected the trial and time ran out... but I literally just downloaded the app and selected the recommended 3 day trial.. which by the way didn’t even register as a trial. Horrible app and trying to get a hold of someone is frustrating. You have to report feedback and wait for an email response.
    Edit: I’ve gotten a response and they keep telling me if I had cancelled my membership on time I wouldn’t have been charged. LOL I explained that I selected the trial and gotc charged for an actual membership instead. I also informed them that I had just downloaded the app minutes ago and was still told it was my fault. What a joke of both app/customer service. Worst I’ve ever seen.

  • I’m giving up on this app, so sad.

    I got this app 2 years ago while overseas, half of the time worked ok and half just didn’t.
    I kept buying credits because it was my only choice. I have a lot of apps and accounts register with one of my three numbers from talk you. Now that I am in the states and I need to get access codes by sms in order to change my account settings.... I GET MY SMS’s WITH ONE HOUR DELAY!! apps and websites codes will only work for ten min.
    This is causing a big issue and after writing to talk U many times so far I haven’t received a reply or any help!

  • RIPPED OFF OF MY CREDITS!!

    Well this is the fourth time I've tried to contact talku i'm cheating me out of credits on a free Internet phone call today! Two times I tried to send a ticket through the app and it told me it wouldn't go through, today I try to send a trouble ticket through the website and it wouldn't go through! Apparently they don't want people telling them that they're ripping people off! I've been a long time talku customer, and I really keep credits on my phone, today I use it for a phone call using the free Internet option, and yes I did check to make sure it was a free Internet option!
    it ran through my talkie credits like it was water!
    and what's really upsetting, is I've had to jump through hoops to even send a trouble ticket in for it and I still haven't got to so I have this right this bad review!!!
