Totally lame!
I bought my CAPPEC NS-BTH01 a couple of years ago. It is totally accurate but the range on the Bluetooth was awful!!! I had to keep my phone in the window 15' from the cooker in order to not lose connectivity. Kind of makes it a pointless buy. The original App was pretty nice. Gave tons of info about your cook times, current temperatures and alarms for over temp on the cooker. The new App makes my thermometer a paper weight at best! It connects but I have absolutely 0 usability of the App. All I get is the over temp alarm... There are so many other companies out there making a fantastic quality product without these issues.

Doesn't work after the update
The app won't work on my iPhone after the update. What a bummer for the summer grilling season. Emailed CAPPEC with no response. I wouldn't purchase this again due to this update.Jasbarnes
Cannot select device

What happened!
I've been using this app for a couple years. Suddenly there's a new version that I can't even open I don't know what's going on I can't seem to figure out how to get the thing to work. It's totally unresponsive2369420
POS upgrade
Used to work ok until the latest update. The new interface won't connect with my probe anymore. Thanks, guys. You took a working probe and bricked it. I'll buy elsewhereCatbert10
USDA guidelines not entirely current
The setting for turkey shows the old USDA guidelines. Recently, the USDA revised a lot of guidelines. These need to be incorporated. For instance, at 180°F (the temperature shown on the device) the turkey will be dry. The current guideline is 165°F.Scott the traveler
Not used yet, but...
Please add support for iPhone 6+. 1080p is native and it's just annoying honestly and not a functionality thing, but every time I see an app without it I was to punch a panda bear in the nose.Oylerck
Great idea but not so great product
I bought this thinking with it being wifi it would have better range then most other BBQ temp gauges. But it's way worse. As soon as I come inside the house it looses the connection
Also is doesn't store your temp settings. If you close the app you have to reset everything. Pretty annoying.
Hope they fix that part of the app and can increase the wifi distanceShow lessJordf
Smoker temp
Product and app work well. I would like to have the option to set one of the probes as a smoker temp vs. only meat settings.MiC_L
