Must have app for sea shore walks
We live along the Puget Sound and experience 15’ tide differentials. High tide rises to the breakwater rocks making a beach walk impossible. Low tide exposes a beautiful sand beach, but it is short lived, and trying to guess a low tide is impossible because of the variability of the next tide.
This app makes it simple to figure out tides. Just find the closest tide gauge on the map and plan your beach time accordingly and you are set. Plus the almanac allows you to look at the tide tables, sun rise/set & moon rise/set way into the future. If you travel , just change locations.
You can also add the app as a widget on your home screen. This allows you to see the current tide level without launching the app. Just swipe left on the Home Screen.
My only feature request is to make the sun and moon icons larger in the almanac.
Great app.

A good app, but why does it crash the first 2 times I launch it?
Using this app on an up-to-date iPad and for a year now it crashes on launch the first 2 tries, then works fine on the 3rd try. All updates are installed. Have deleted and reinstalled the app and problem continues.
I have reported problem to the developers but have yet to see a fix.
A 5 star app IF the crash problem gets fixed. But not until then.

Useless in Canada.
No data for Canada. Useless.
What’s next to perfect?
The iPhone version has everything I want, with the bonus of not being data mined. So it’s pretty much perfect. So it can be done. What I’m trying to say is the iPad version has a few things missing, that makes it next to perfect. I’d very much like to see the wind speed, barometric reading etc that is on the iPhone version, added to the iPad version. All the same, thanks for giving us such a great solution for our needs!

Good but needs improvement
The iPad version the app crashes every time I try to open details for a station which makes it unusable on that platform. Generally the iPhone version is a good app but it can still be clunky in selecting stations. If I select a station, view the details page w/ tidal graphic and almanac then go back to map, select another station, when I attempt to open the detail page for that station it opens for a second then reverts to the map…it will open properly if I select it again.
Usable but as I said, clunky. The map functionality and the data display w/ graphic and almanac are great and why I keep the app.

Couldn’t Be Better
Accurately and beautifully presented. Extremely easy to use and read. Thank you!
I would give 5 stars if it didn’t crash so often
Can’t open the app on occasion because it crashes and closes itself before I can see anything.
Almost perfect
Overall, I love this app. The only exceptions are the Apple Watch complications. The moon phase and tide gauge provide wildly different information, and while the tide gauge appears to be more accurate, it provides no indication of flood vs ebb.
Feature request: change the circular height mark to an up or down arrow. The tides strongly affect currents.

Perfect app
App is absolutely perfect for what I need. I row on tidal rivers and too shallow doesn’t work. This lets me see the depth at a glance to time when to get out there. Used another similar app for years until they thought that (readily available for free info online) information is now worth $3.99 a month. HARD PASS. This app is everything I need.

Unresponsive developer, moon data off
App is aesthetically pleasing and there are multiple options for iPhone widgets… but developer is unresponsive to bug reports, and moon rise and set data differ considerably from that of US Naval Observatory
