Good but needs work
The game is a great concept but whoever is in charge of getting the answers to some of these questions needs to be moved to another position.Rane54
Not terrible but
The game itself is well made and fun, but let down by 1) a strong US bias in the clues (3 letter, begins with T, "roofing material: UK answer would be tar, but apparently "tin" is the correct answer) and 2) generally poor knowledge by the clue writers (three letters, "cow chow": the answer could only be grass or cud... But the given answer was "hay". But cows don't eat hay, horses eat hay).
I will wait for the next update to see if the makers improve the content and if not, I will remove this app.

I love this app! Easy to cheat I guess but I won't and if others do it's their own bad sportsmanship! I highly highly recommend!mookystanks
Good but could use improvement
Great setup - works well and is fun and addictive. (And as a note to other reviewers - If the people you're playing with are cheating you need new friends. That isn't the app developers fault.) The main things I'd personally like to see - integration with the Facebook friend list (many of my friends have never registered in Game Center) and in game chat or messaging of some kind rather than just taunts. Otherwise, bravo on a solid game that's fun as long as your friends aren't cheaters. :)Show lessMelTheFruitFly
Incredibly hard if outside the US
Love the game, but sadly the questions are so obscure or players over here in the UK.
Be great if there was a regionalised game pack.

Almost perfect
I adore this game. The only thing I would change would be to have differing difficulty levels. It's just a little too challenging for most people as it is.Kirahazen
Good but
Great if you're American but not if you're not. One of those games with answers that non-US folk are unlikely to know. Shame as has a good feel to it. The look and controls remind me of Letterpress which I love. For a freebie I would recommend giving it a go and making your own mind up.miltoncat
A wonderful surprise!
I’ve been longing for a killer iOS crossword app for a long time now, and was pleasantly surprised to stumble across Crossly. It goes above and beyond my expectations in terms of gameplay, and it's also just plain drop dead gorgeous.
Love the pay what you want IAP too.

Awesome, but...
This game is really good, I already paid for it! Really good way to kill time. However, I think that Facebook integration should be added, as well as a sort of reward system and more themes for premium. But other than that, really good!ralphmettle
