Numbers don’t lie
Then there’s the heart rate monitoring. Oura often shows my heart rate a bit higher, around 5 beats per minute more than the Healbe. I guess it’s because it’s on my finger, which might be a bit more reliable for this kind of thing than my wrist.
But, man, Healbe really needs to sort out their update process. The last time I tried updating, it took 30 minutes and the first attempt didn’t even work. Had to run it back for a second go before the band and app decided to play nice.
All in all, both gadgets are pretty solid. They’ve got their pros and cons, but I’m keeping an eye on how they evolve. Definitely some cool tech to follow.

Surprised it seems to work
It’s a little hard to wear for 22 hours a day (although I understand why); the only thing I’d ask for would be better battery life. That said, charging during showering generally keeps me with enough power.
The hydration measurements don’t seem to correlate well with my hydration level; but this wasn’t particularly something I cared about to begin with. The sleep tracking is quite accurate.
It’s important to remember that when you eat something it takes your body time to digest. The time depends on what the food is and the state your body is in (plus your personal biochemistry). You can’t check it and find out exactly how much energy you consumed in real time (your body hasn’t absorbed it yet!). Just important to keep in context for people wanting to use something like this to track calories in real time.
As far as the app goes, I need to force close in order for it to update my weight from HealthKit. Not a huge deal - not sure how important knowing my weight actually is, but it will bug me after a while to update it. Seems like there just needs to be a fetch to HealthKit on open of the app (I have it enabled and authorized).

Don’t buy
Update. HEALBE sent me a new watch for free. I used it for about two or three weeks and now once again the new one won’t charge. It’s a fun concept but since it won’t charge it was an expensive gadget

Awful Experience
The watch has to be worn 22 hours per day, but the battery drains at an absurd rate - especially if you actually use the app. Your best bet is to only open the app every few days - which isn’t exactly a very useful app.
If you’re ever unlucky enough to deplete power entirely - or go through a time zone change - the app will screw up the entire day’s log. I have plenty of days that show 30 hours of wear time, and other days where I wore the watch 22 hours, but only 12 are logged. All because I traveled to a different state.
That doesn’t even get into the physical aspects of the watch aside from the app. Please save your money and your sanity, and don’t try this app or product.
