Deleted all my pictures

After months of photos in my album the app deleted all of them - would have got a different app if had known - this one was so terrible - do not recommend- DO NOT GET

Hello! Sorry to hear about your trouble with Selfie-A-Day. To ensure your privacy, all photos are stored within the app which means they can be backed up with your regular iCloud or iTunes backups. We also offer the ability to save all your photos to your camera roll as you take them or to save all photos in an album to your camera roll with the built in backup feature. Great App!

This is a great app to use when documenting your growth/change through any period in time. It’s useful for seeing how you change in a spawn of a year, two years, or even more! I personally don’t update it every day, just when I remember. So far it has worked beautifully! You don’t have to pay for the basics, and so far I haven’t felt the need to pay :) all in all, this is a wonderful app!

Total CRAP!

Only download this if you want to pay for an annual subscription! And if you do download it immediately set up it up to back up the photos to your device/iCloud as it doesn’t do that by default (if you want to turn it off after fine but this should absolutely be the default setting). I lost 2 months worth of my sons newborn photos when my phone had an issue and had to be wiped. I had a back up of my phone but the photos within the app were lost. Then when I went to make a video of the selfies I discovered that there is no way to do that without the annual subscription (except during the 7 day trial). Get the better version of this (called Everyday). I wish you could give less than one star!! Like bad karma; I was still so emotional post having a baby when I lost those photos. I sat in my room and cried. Not that it brought them back.

Good interface

Only been on this app for 7 days but the interface has already blown me away and I love that it’s free. Definitely the easiest way to make a time compilation

Love this app!

Works perfectly. I'm going to try to make an album for a full year!

The Siri shortcuts are a nice touch. So easy to take my daily selfie.

Update: I can’t wait to start on my 2021 album!

100% RECOMMENDED

I’ve recently downloaded this app and seems great so far. The free version of the app is much better than I expected, but if u want additional features like privacy, importing, watermark removing and etc, the paid version is a must.
The paid version comes at a VERY reasonable price and memories are priceless!

Almost to a year!

A week and a half more to hit a full year! App is easy to use. I wish it had better head guides, as it’s not easy to align yourself each time without a tripod, but the tools they have work well enough.

PRO TIP: if possible, make sure the lighting is consistent!! A lot of my photos are taken at different times of day, and it’s almost hard to watch, because the light flashing. I’ll have to pay to upgrade, export the photos, and edit them so they’re all similar. I’ve also noticed it looks better with a consistent plain background, rather than different ones each day.

An auto-fix for lighting/saturation/etc could be an interesting app feature idea.

HOW TO UPLOAD VIDEO TO PHONE

It says you need premium to save to camera roll but if you take a screen recording and then crop it will have the same effect.Hope it helped.

Take a Selfie a Day for 365 days and pop them all together into a video

Pretty cool, huh?! And it’s free. It’s a cool way to map even your weight or maybe if you start exercising see how much weight you’ve lost. I’ve been using it and it’s scary how many times the reminder gets me with no makeup on! Haha 😂
