Disappointing first day at Universal for my grandson and I.

We headed right to Universal Studios to the Wizarding world of Harry Potter. My grandson wears a brace and is unable to bend his right leg very much due to a recent injury. Unfortunately, he could not get on Gringots as he had to be able to bend his leg. Yes- he did try the ride outside. The attendant said to ask for certain car number which had more legroom which we did, but still, he could not get on the ride.

He is 11 and usually very calm but he cried as he got off. Not one of your attendants seemed to care.

This continued with the following rides:
- the Mummy
- MIB was closed
- Simpson ride was delayed while we were in the car. We had to exit and then get back on again.

We eventually headed over to the islands of adventure. The train ride over from Diagon Alley was well done!

Immediately we could not get on Hagrid’s Magical Creature ride or the Harry Potter’s Forbidden Journey. He did ride the hippogriffs as a kind attendant told him he would fit him if he asked for the front seat.

On we went to Jurassic World in, jumped in line for the Velocicoaster. (yes he did. Check the seat out front.). Unfortunately the ride was delayed. After quite a while, I decided to leave and wait out front for him. He eventually got to ride, but came out in significant pain from having to bend his leg at an awkward angle.

From there, we did the long walk back to the parking lot and left for the day.

To add insult to injury, I ended up having to pay for lockers that we never needed to use because we couldn’t ride the rides. Only $9 but it just added to the frustration.

There was not one ride that could not accommodate him in Disney. You need to do at least one set of rides where a person can stretch out their legs. This is significant for seniors like myself as well. I suggest you incorporate that into future designs.

We are heading to Universal again today, although neither one of us are interested. However, we bought the two day pass and we’re from Canada so we’re going to try to make the best of it.

Sincerely,
Rosemarie Auld

Most better than Disney

Thank you for bringing to us a park without woke culture, I hope to visit you next year. Good luck.

Unable to create an account.

After check in we were advised to download the app and create an account, 2 hours later and still unable to create one, so far not so good and even the staff here are on the slack side of life.

Bad burger

Burger was raw

Best Birthday Ever

We did a sweet 16 birthday weekend and finished with a universal studios day.
My daughter had the best birthday weekend of her life. We will be back with the rest of our family.

Don’t use to buy ticket

To avoid surprises buy your tickets onsite and avoid surprises and hidden charges.

This is amazing

The map is very useful. It’s easy to read but I don’t need it😊. The first time I went I used it a lot. It also helped me schedule my day with the wait times.

In line full wait then break down

First time to islands. Waited in line over an hour for Jurassic park river adventure, and they get over the loudspeaker and tell us they are delayed.. we stay in line twenty minutes more it starts back up again and we make it to the very front of the line.. they tell us they are delayed for an extended amount of time and the ride is broke down…. Everybody exits…Next up Dudley do rights falls , similar water ride.. in line for about and hour.. same thing broke down most people exit.. Spider-Man. Same thing in line then delayed… Kong ride in line over an hour.. on ride ride malfunctions get half the ride and then nothing but dark screen then get dropped off. So basically in line all morning and get to ride very few rides and the one we get to ride malfunction. We go back to jurrasic river run adventure get in line. Twenty minutes,, rides delayed due to weather.. rain storm is 15 miles away .. we say screw it and go back to the hotel.
