  • Love this app!!

I’ve been using this app for years now and I love it, favourite app by far! I get so many compliments on my photos and it’s thanks to this and the presets I have. I look like a pro! Get this app, learn how to use it, get some epic presets and you’ll never look back!

One tiny thing I’d love team LR, if you’d please change it back to how we used to load in the specific photos we wanted to edit in LR, rather than now, since an update, having all your photos from your library automatically populate in. It makes it so hard to find, organise and keep track of photos you want to edit. Especially if they weren’t recent. And it makes it a little slower too, probably because I have about 150,000 photos in my phone. Still the best app! But would love this to change back, or have the option of which one you want to do. 🙏🏽

  • I am furious

I had a paid version of this app, as in I had ALREADY paid for the features and the later updates means I can’t access any of the frustres without subscribing and paying a monthly fee. What an absolute scam.

**There isn’t an option to respond to the apps response on here so i'm responding this way.

What balance? The update locked every editing feature on the app for any new raw images I upload, which is the way i've been using this app happily for the last few years. STOP making things subscription only, we are not an infinite financial resource. I use this app maybe once every couple of months, not enough to justify a monthly subscription fee. You can have your subscription service for people that have want to do that but a lot of us do not continuous regular spare cash.

  • Generative AI fails again!

I downloaded Lightroom to try out the new, much-hyped “Generative Remove” feature. I tried it on a photo of my daughter, attempting to remove our dog who had photobombed the shot.

The first attempt replaced him with an ornate wooden box. (What?) The second attempt replaced him with a different dog (and a typical generative AI dog: half a head and five legs). On the third attempt I got a reasonably result.

The UX for this feature is also nothing like the promo video. When you colour in the area you want to fix, the promo video shows the fix happening instantly, like magic. The reality is that a dialog saying “Connecting to cloud” appears for several seconds (even on fast WiFi), then the fix appears.

Hello! We understand your frustration with the Generative Remove feature failing to meet expectations. We apologize for the odd replacements and slow processing. Your feedback is valuable for our future improvements, and we will share this with our developers. ^Rc
  • Overheats and automatically dims on my iPhone 15 pro

I have tried everything including speaking with apple in order to try and resolve this issue we turned off every single automatic screen adjusting setting possible, I can’t edit a photo if it continuously dims my screen, it doesn’t happen in any other app. It happened with my last iPhone 13 Pro and but was not a huge issue with my iPhone 11, and this is literally the only app to cause me this much grief. Please adobe either reach out and let me know how you can resolve this and perhaps I can improve the star rating, thank you.

  • Great App

Definitely worth the subscription amount for all the extra features and storage, I love that I can use it on my laptop and my phone and the cloud sync is super fast!

Quality of images is never reduced after export and you can even copy and paste settings from other photos which saves time if you are editing multiple images/videos from the same time

  • Good to Great

Lightroom Mobile has really been such a great addition to my editing process. Even when I am on a shoot, being able to edit things quickly to give clients a sneak peak is very helpful for sparking that excitement. Where this app falls short for me is the ability to import assets or use plugins. Presets are an important component to many editing workflows, and quite honestly it’s an extremely tedious process to get presets onto the app (unless you do it through the desktop or web version). I don’t always have my computer on me, and sometimes I just need that ability to import those assets without spending a lot of time doing so. Not being able to use plugins is also a very frustrating thing, and is something I would like to see in the future. I also would like to see brush capabilities in the future, another thing most people use in their workflows. Overall this app works great and is fun to use when I shoot random photos on my iPhone or import from my camera, but I would like to see more improvements, because at the end of the day if I wanted to edit a photo fully on this app, I couldn’t.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion! This would make a great feature request. In fact, you can do that by posting it on our forum as an Idea. Go to forums.adobe.com click New Post and fill out the form. Put each idea on a separate post. These requests are tracked by our developers and other users can vote on them as well. ^Rc
  • Love it!

I been using Lightroom since 2009 and it has been a vital part of my work in photography I’ve tried a couple of editing tools in the past but I got so comfortable using Lightroom since discovering it 15 years ago. I couldnt travel anywhere else without my Lightroom. She is very easy to get use and lots of fun stuff that I’m still discovering to this day. I simply love Lightroom❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Great editing tool for mobile phone use. Super easy and simple, not complicated.
Sometimes it can be slow at uploading and downloading photos which can be time consuming.
  • Hands down the greatest app

Lightroom is hands down the greatest photo editing app out there, and I use A LOT of photo editing applications. I might run one photo through multiple apps to create the desired effect, but it all starts with Lightroom . If you don’t yet have the app “Lighty” you might want to check it out, too. You get free daily Lightroom filters that are legit. Being able to view other peoples edited photos that are shared in Lightroom, and being able to “copy” the filters those individuals used to create a particular photo, is unheard of…until Lightroom. I have been asked umpteen times by friends, family, and followers, of my Facebook page if I would be interested in photographing their important event, and when I tell them all I have is my iPhone, not a “real” camera, they are blown away. “You take all those pictures on your PHONE?” they exclaim. I tell them they can too, and direct them to Lightroom.

  • Aims so high for its Desktop counterpart

I really want to Love Lightroom iOS but I can’t in good conscious move past the glaring issues with exporting a range of my video files, including drone..
I thought this was going to be a solid runner on my iPhone for all the things I use it for on my desktop, so my 5 star expectations were at the very least accessible, and not too far reaching.
That is, have the same editing tools and features, and have the stability to work with native file formats and render respectfully.
This just hasn’t been the case on multiple occasions and I find myself troubleshooting the app than editing, which is really sad to say as it isn’t how I spend my time on my desktop versions of Adobe’s suite. Instead with almost half my working media, I use another less-than-name brand app for colour grading and correction.
