Have routes can’t use them
Can only see routes, can’t use them for directions

GPX-Viewer is not a navigation app. To navigate to a specific route or track point, tap “show location on” and select Apple Maps, Google Maps, or another map. Then when you’re in the map navigation app route to the point.
Importing routes
RUBBISH!!! You can’t import routes you have created yourself. Avoid!

Yes you can import. When presented with the file list, tap the + button at the bottom left to add or import a GPX file. Other file types won’t work; it must be a GPX file.

For a free app it’s a pretty good GPX viewer. Best I’ve found so far.
UI is a little cluttered / basic / my-first-app, but it’s responsive and functional.
I use it for loading green-lane / byway tracks.
One improvement I can suggest is to show the loading of multiple GPX files at a time.

Can’t open local files
Attempted to open a .gpx file saved to phone. Error message: “you don’t have permission to open file [path to file]. Try using the cloud instead”

Sometimes that happens for some unknown reason. I suggest you copy the file to the cloud and then access it from the cloud. Easy to do.
Does what is needed
It’s basic but it does what is needed and works well. Saved my skin getting a gpx file onto my phone

GPX-Viewer opens and views GPX files. I don’t know what box files are. Maybe there’s a box viewer somewhere for you.
OK App needs some work
Handling files stored on iCloud and other locations could be made more accessible and user-friendly.
Clean App
I have been using all versions of this app Mac and iOS. It is great for just reviewing your tracks, just upload and go! All very slick!
No gpx import
Can’t work out how to import from Google drive. Google drive claims it sent gpx file to app but app can’t see it

Tap the Cloud option to access files from Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, or anywhere else.
