Please let our team know if you read these release notes and if they are important to you. • New OpenStreetMap data as of August 10 New Features: • Added a button to open a selected place in other installed apps • Deleted lists of bookmarks and tracks can now be restored from the Recently Deleted folder • Traffic light icons are displayed in car navigation mode • Selected places with WiFi show the emoji symbol • Display road shields in India • See if self-service and outdoor seating are available for a selected place Improvements and fixes: • Moved the Share button from the bottom bar to the X button on the Place Information page • Fixed voice directions when Organic Maps is in the background • Improved routing in cases of bad surface and missing speed limit • Announce street names in pedestrian navigation • Fixed wrong selection of a bookmarked place when tapping on its title • Disabled map rotation snapping to the north angle • Updated FAQ in the app • Store 50 recent searches instead of 10 • Properly export modified bookmark names in GPX • Maps older than 3 months can not be edited • Use NotoSans font instead of Serif for Hebrew • Fixed import of KMB files • Show warning if CarPlay can't display all bookmarks • Report a bug in case of unexpected iCloud sync errors • Various icon fixes for the Place Information page • Download progress text on the map screen doesn't jump anymore • Fixed a bug when Recent Track was not saved after restart Translations: • Improved Catalan, Chinese, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Japanese, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian translations • Updated Cyprus, Iraq, Spain map region names and translations

• Better address search in the USA based on Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing system (TIGER) data. Map size for the USA has increased from 10Gb to 13Gb (including Wikipedia and elevation data) • Fixed rendering of texts in Indic (covering Devanagari, Bengali, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu), Arabic (N'Ko, Syriac, Mongolian), Thai and Lao, Khmer, Myanmar, Tibetan, Hangul, Hebrew scripts • New Malayalam and Bengali fonts • Fixed multiline RTL texts • Single tap now selects any point on the map, even if the map is empty • Changed long tap to toggle full-screen mode • OpenStreetMap data as of July 23 • A selected place now shows more types/categories/amenities • Accidentally deleted bookmark on the map now can be restored immediately (Save button changes to Restore) • Use Import button in Bookmarks and Tracks dialog to load KML, KMZ, GPX files (bookmarks and tracks can also be imported by "sharing" them from any other app, and then choosing "Open with Organic Maps") • Fix importing files via the Files app on a cold start • Added a TTS voice test button in navigation settings • Enable logs in settings to help us with bug fixing • Open social media links in installed applications • Removed a non-working traffic button from CarPlay • Replaced circle checkbox with a rounded rect in the time editor Styles: • Correct dark mode startup background color • Display major roads earlier on the world overview map • Clearer label for POI's building level • Display good quality fine gravel pedestrian paths as white dashed • Support more road/path surface types (bricks, stone, grass paver, soil) • More clear hints when building a route Search: • Mountain search also shows volcanoes • Better search results for faraway places • Search now finds places with a number in their names • Find parcel lockers using their ref numbers Translations: • Updated Belarusian, Chinese, Dutch, Euskara, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian translations. • Transitioned to the new OpenStreetMap authentication mechanism — all authenticated OSM users must re-login • Updated OpenStreetMap data to April 29 • Implemented sorting of bookmarks and tracks by name • Resolved the issue of isolines reminders appearing on top of other dialogs • Corrected the layout of the circular downloading progress bar in selected POIs • Fixed the icons for radio on/off buttons • Fixed bug allowing to add the same language two times in the OSM editor • Aligned RTL languages properly in the bottom menu • Adjusted the location of the "more" menu in bookmark lists • Added default email client support to the about menu • Expanded feature types that could be added to OSM, including marketplaces, taxi stands, kiosks, wilderness huts, garden centers, historic aircraft, cannons, boundary stones, tombs, etc. • Indicated the availability of Drive-through service for selected POIs • Enabled the ability to toggle Drive-through in the OSM editor • Simplified handling of multiple languages feature names in the OSM editor and addressed related bugs • Added a "Can't find a suitable category?" prompt in the OSM editor • Replaced the "stairs" icon with an elevator icon for displaying the level number of selected POIs • Rectified missing local language name versions for specific POIs • Enhanced visibility of the $ emoji for paid map features in dark mode • Improved bicycle routing for certain scenarios • Optimized the app size for better performance Map: • Display difficult hiking trails as brown-dotted, expert ones as black-dotted • Blue lines under white/brown dashes for shared foot/cycle paths • Dark blue lines for dedicated cycleways • More consistency in displaying paved paths as white dashed lines, unpaved ones as brown dashed • Roads are now visible beneath semi-transparent bridge outlines • Added scree and shingle areas; better color of bare rock surfaces • Stopped displaying vacant/unused shops • Added natural=stone (shown as natural=rock) and miniature golf to the map • Separate public transport shelters, basic huts, and lean-tos from generic shelters • Added icons for animal enclosures, dry cleaning; updated laundry icon • Fixed the issue of font size being too small for smaller cities • Made cities labels visible at higher zooms • Reduced the opacity of indigenous lands' hatching fill • Hatching fill and icons/captions for nature reserves are not displayed at very detailed zoom levels Search: • Enhanced category search (padel, subway stations, wilderness huts, etc.) • Enabled search for drinking water refill locations, including participating cafes • Excluded private swimming pools from search results • Added experimental search for "?wiki" • Tuned category search rankings for better results Translations: Basque, German, Greek, Slovak
