Error! 40
I have the SK-250 model. Suddenly, I am unable to log in to the app, update the password, or create a new account. I just keep getting an “Error! 40” message. Nothing in the manual or online to troubleshoot this and chat is offline midday on a Monday.
Crashes on startup
The latest update has made my system unusable. The app crashes upon loading and I no longer receive notifications for my sensors. Since there is no other way to control Skylink’s hardware, my alarm system is completely defeated now.

Unreliable
Hub keeps losing internet connection. App hasn’t been updated in more than seven months. Unable to add garage door sensors now. Simply too unreliable for a security system.
App crashes and need a major upgrade

Doesn’t work anymore
We have had this system for 5years and now it’s not working. We even bought a new one and same error. You set the alarm it disarms itself, and try panic and only single chirp. Very disappointed no info nor updates.
A very frustrating company!
Skylinknet makes a decent security system in the sense that the hardware is reliable, but they are LAZY! In the two years, they seem to have done nothing except promote a garage door device. No improved or new home security products, certainly no improvements to the iPhone app. I’ve been asking for a number of improvements such as integration with 3rd party cameras because their camera is unreliable garbage. Nothing!

App is unstable
About 50% of the time I use this app it crashes. It didn’t used to be this unstable but with recent updates it has gone down hill. I have to force close the app and then restart it for it to work which eats up time when I am just trying to lock up.
It functions but during setup?????
The app functions when is setup, but during setup all letters are invisible, setting options are invisible, configuration of if/then options are invisible. It’s there, you can select but selection options letters are invisible.
No Apple Watch app? No Samsung Watch app?
Only good thing, alarm and push notifications delay is less than 1 sec. Well alarm should be doing that. That’s why I have it for years and I love it. But App design deserves 2 stars.

Core functionality works pretty well
There is some room for a few more features to be added, but the core functionality works very well. I had a system up and running in a few minutes. Programming is crazy easy, as is use to manage and control your alarm system.
I LOVE how granular the control is over the various components to the alarm system for push notifications, chimes, and alarm modes.
Input fields are basically impossible to read if your phone is in dark mode - switch back to light mode in iPhone settings before trying to use the app.
Outside of that, this app works really well.
