Reviews of Alberta Emergency Alert

  • I tried to put in my address but..

It will not fricking load so stupid 0 stars I hate this.
  • Can’t disable loud alarm noise

Downloaded this app to try and keep more aware of ongoing emergencies. But I’m uninstalling now as there’s no way to disable the very loud and obnoxious alarm for certain emergency notifications. It’s the same one we already get forcibly sent to all mobile phones from the government. There is absolutely no need to double-startle me by additionally sending the alarm through this app. Very dangerous and distracting to get these alarm notifications while driving, or for people struggling with ptsd.
  • Font size

On the AE alert Facebook page, could you please write the location of the emergency in a more prominent font so we aren’t forced to go to the app. Sometimes the location is difficult to spot but time may be wasted going to the App trying to find out if it is near you.
