Mountain report updates
Happy with information on App but can’t work out why Mountain Report hasn’t updated for the last few weeks. I rely on this report to decide whether I travel up from Mt Beauty. It should also have the date the report was made on the page.
Rubbish App
For an app purported to be real-time, or near-real-time, it is nothing like it. What is the use of weather info from just after midnight? And what about run information that is over a week old? Zipper and Widow-Maker open? Seriously?!? What about lift information? When will the Standby status be reassessed. No, at present, it is more useful looking out the window than using this app.

Cloudy, with no chance of extra snow, but it’s still good!
As a long time annual visitor to Hotham (over 20 years), we thought we’d revisit Falls Creek as my son is working up here for the season. Everything about this place is 100% better than Hotham. The accommodation (shout out to Diana Alpine Lodge!) is top notch, the infrastructure has been maintained, there are so many places to choose from for drinks and food, and while there was no snow on the roads, it’s an easy walk around the village - and with snow, easy to ski in/out like we did years ago. I’m just disappointed in myself that we didn’t revisit years ago!! Hotham won’t be an option for future stays - unless they can bring themselves up to the standard of Falls.

Falls creek app
Pretty good app. Dining options appeared to have summer time details. The forecast is not always updated by 9am. No web cam picture of salom plaza. Used to have one previous years. This is handy to get a feel for the cues.
Falls creek review
Falls Creek is a very good mountain and offers a good range of terrain. All the staff and instructors were really friendly and the food was good. The only thing I would say that wasn’t as good was the snow cover but that’s due to the Australian climate. I love my times at falls and the best place to stay is the ‘st falls resort’.

Please date/time stamp the snow report
The weather conditions are time stamped and then the mountain report is listed below. Trouble is yesterdays report isn’t taken down nor does it have a date so if you are looking at the report at 630/7 and thinking of heading up from the valley there is no way to know if this is todays or yesterdays report. Is it possible it could be dated-simply in the reporters text, like “here is the snow report for Monday 8th July”, or delete it automatically at midnight, or have the app time/date stamp the entry. Option one would need no change in coding.
Could a comment be made about terrain park status as well. Many people choose between Hotham and falls depending on the park status, especially when terrain is limited early and late in the season. Otherwise generally works well this year. Thanks heaps!

Easy to navigate.
Everything you need for your trip to falls. Handy information and useful tips. Just a suggestion- maybe a link to action photos of visitors on the slopes. (a) to see the smiles on faces and fun being had. & (b) so people can see the amount of snow on the ground
Love it
Amazing app, reliable and quick. Tracking system is great once you get you head around it and all the maps and news updates are a great addition, definite bonus that is has the same layout as the Hotham app.
Mountain Report failing to load
Condition Info is missing in my Vn 10 Apple app. Mountain Report failing to load despite latest version and turning on all notifications etc.
I get a pop up message saying that conditions info may be incomplete - so why can’t the problem just be fixed so that the report is linked where it should be?
I don’t need lots of gimmicks about tracking runs and competing on socials - I just need info on the conditions on the mountain!!
Annoying that I have to go find report separately on website …

Response from developer
Thank you for using the Falls Creek app. If this is still a problem, can you please send a screenshot showing this issue to support@resortstapped.com?
Very helpful but some inaccuracies
Very helpful app to get around the slopes, lifts.
Strangely, some runs are marked as "blue" on the map when instead on the mountain they are marked as "black".
Also when the app showed some lifts closed, for example Ruined Castle and Scott closed on the same day, it still showed that the runs feeding of them where open when in reality they couldn't be used since there were no lifts to take you back up.
