These issues may result from the latest iOS and Android OS versions, which tend to put applications into deep sleep so they may not receive notifications and exchange messages in the background. We are still working on this. So make sure you install the latest twinme updates to benefit from the latest improvements. You may also "zap" the application to refresh its state when facing potential connection problems, and check that it connects to its signaling servers. How can I link my account to another device?

A new account is created when you install the application for the first time on a device. And you cannot run the same account on different devices simultaneously. We will be working on this, but it might take a bit of time. Meanwhile, since you can create several relations with the same contacts, you can create relations with your contacts from each of your devices. You can also create a relation between yourself on each of your devices, and transfer contents received on one on the other. Or make each of your devices belong to the same group with some of your contacts. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

2 stars because you were honest about it and mention it on your privacy policy. But it’s creepy that you guys need my location. Don’t need another app spying on me.
Your idea is great but the crowd you are going after wants privacy and I personally would not mind paying for your app if it was truly private. Get the location thing off! Then it’s 5 stars. Other than that you guys did an awesome job. This a fine app. Keep up the good work.

There must be some misunderstanding in the reading or our privacy policy, as we do "not" take "your" location. The account you use to communicate with contacts does not contain any personal information about "you" whatsoever: you can check in the permissions asked. It is not even available as a "User-(ID", since twinme operates only on relations, not on people. For statistical purposes only, we collect collective information (not individualized) about things like "how many calls from that country or that city, based on IP addresses used to make calls." This is what the privacy policy refers to. As you point out, taking "your" location would be quite creepy and opposite to the whole privacy protection purpose of developing this app. We do not know who you are (contrary to others that take your phone number, email address, etc.).
