  • Super

It really is a super App. We look at the words in the various levels as a family most days and already we have started to extend our spoken and written vocabulary. We also have developed a little point scoring family game which is based on the words that we learned yesterday. I would recommend this App to everyone- plenty of different levels for different vocabulary abilities.

  • Fun as.

Fun as. Feeling smarter & enjoying the gentle way in which this app is instilling words to to my brain. A good & easily achievable daily routine for someone’s who doesn’t like routines.
  • Easy to understand.

This app is really helpful for easy to understand for all levels of people. Who can learn some words for brainstorming. Please go through it.
    Thanks.
  • Upgrade your vocabulary

A very addictive app which will add to your vocabulary. I like the way the app prompts you to remember key words you will have not known at the first attempt. There are so many apps which don’t add value to your everyday life but this one will enhance your use of words and make conversations more interesting. I’m sure the designers will find ways to entertain users as it does have its limitations in the way the questions are asked.

  • Great!

I’m 67 and need to freshen up and relearn vocabulary. This app is like using flash cards. You choose your level and start. It’s multiple choice. If you miss the word, it replays that word, until you’ve gotten it right twice, I believe.

No ads, no bs, no fancy interruptions, love it. After you’ve gotten them right and finish a certain amount, you can either play that series over, or go to the next level.

I do just that. I need lots of repetitions. I’ll put it a way for a while, then retake the last section. Patience here, need it, very simple.

  • Some words not defined by primary definition

Generally a good app, but some words are incorrectly defined when there is more than one meaning. For example, the word becoming can mean attractively suitable or in a different context can mean evolving. Having both definitions as options then becomes both confusing and misleading. Evolving is apparently the answer that is correct, the other is wrong. This is just one example of why I am deleting the App.

  • Total Fun App

I’m happy to report that this app is neither ‘tedious’ nor ‘pedestrian’ but extremely fun and entertaining. It has improved my word choice but my grammar still needs work. I like pitting my brain to ‘decipher’ the correct meanings of words and am constantly surprised how wrong I usually am. It’s funny how ‘entrenched’ one can be on what we think the word really means and I have had serious conversations with the iPad on how ‘wrong’ the app is. You guys have created a fun tool, and definitely some new words, and I thank you for the experience. I do find playing opponents not so much fun as it takes too long to play and it’s hard to stay engaged. All in all one of the best apps I’ve ever saved and played consistently. Thanks again. Everyone needs an app like this.

  • Absolutely obsessed with this app!

I had been looking for a fun and interactive way to increase my vocabulary, in addition to reading, and stumbled upon this app. Now I am finding it difficult to switch it off- I absolutely love it! However I don’t feel guilty as it’s all about learning!
  • A useful app for getting familiar with the uncommon words

I would personally recommend this useful app. After a time consuming preparation for the GRE test, I have almost forgot most of the uncommon or sophisticated words I learned. The app provide me with a good opportunity to pick up the vocabulary and I do enjoy the reference sentences for elaboration. I would say it is also a good choice to kill time.

  • Suze

Great for a quick “think”. Easier and better than a crossword! I jump on daily just for a few minutes
