Neutral review
I’m shooting outside in full sun and I know I need to use an ND filter but according to the app, I don’t.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. If you feel that you get filter recommendations too late you can go to the settings page and lower the value for the desired dynamic range. This will affect the manual and the automatic mode and give you filter recommendations more early. The best value depends on your workflow, so you might try to lower it step by step and see if the results fit your expectations. To get the best results on your camera, always shoot in RAW mode, set the exposure to match the highlights in the sky and recover the shadows in post processing. By doing so you can often get away without using a filter (even in broad daylight) but the shadows may appear black on the cameras live view. This depends on the cameras sensor.
