After several years of use without issues the other day milewiz decided to uncategorise over 550 of my journeys…. I can see no way to restore a backup so it seems all f this data is lost. To say this is a minor issue would be an understatement. Lesson being do not rely on this, be better organised than I have been and regularly export backups!!Show lessbfg

Apologies about this, it was indeed an issue on our end, which we've corrected.Miles are way off
For some reason the miles reported by the app are way off. One trip was more than 200 off.romania74

Hi There was an issue with iOS that prevented all location based apps to work properly for some time. It appears fixed now though.Cannot get custom reports

I have given up on this app. It requires constant maintenance and mileage ratchets up faster than my odometer. I often notice that the slipping happened over many previous trips. Apps with manual entry have proven quicker, more efficient, and accurate than MileWiz. Performance for price is not there. Subscriber beware.Show lessTdub28

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Would it be possible to contact us over email? We are not aware of such issues with the recorded mileage. Additionally, please note that MileWiz also allows you to record trips manually, if that is your preference.Very bad

I’ve been a paying customer of MileIQ for around 6 months, and it is pretty decent. Yet, it relies on Bing maps because it is a Micro$oft app using their other products.
So, I decided to get this app to try out the differences. This is way more accurate, but severely lacking in features. Primarily, unlike MileIQ, there’s no web page interface. This is a real problem when you’re trying to classify and look at trips to fill out reimbursement forms, or want to print out a report.
I’m currently paying for both, but will probably start looking for another alternative if the authors here don’t implement a web interface soon.
Also, settings changes here are not as intuitive. Changing the price price mile doesn’t look like you’re in the correct spot due to lack of bold font or coloring of font.Show lessRood1967

Thank you for your feedback! We'll try to improve the intuitiveness in Settings as soon as possible. Also, we are planning to release a free complementary app for Mac and iPad a little later this year that would be much more comfortable for the needs you described.Great!
