Optimum features advertised that miss the mark.

Whilst Canva seems to have upgraded to be the one stop shop for your branding & content needs, it falls short of being effective & requires a lot of handling and messing around to get your content truly polished to the standard you need. Especially bothering is step 1 of the process of uploading your own content to use for the content creation. For example today I tried uploading 20-31 items from my iPhone gallery which just refuse to upload. One must resort to uploading only a few at a time which is labour and time intensive. The content creator market demands a truly quick & easy solution, when you’re paying for a service it is expected to work appropriately. Another gripe is that any of the “beat-sync” options with music overlayed onto your videos/reel drafts are often perfect on the app, yet once exported have huge glitches that don’t play well on video. For example, your footage will skip or double itself, the transitions are glitchy, the playback is not smooth even though you saved the file which already looked pristine in app. I have paid a serious subscription fee of AUD$165 annual which I expect to work as it is stated to work. Almost a waste of this amount of money, I seek retribution for my wasted funds, time and effort.

The language of canva.

Ken has become a design language all of its own, with its own place in the world. In its obvious expression, I find it crude but in the hands of a masterful creator, this is my the most valuable app I have. I am continually grateful for the paid version, and will never begrudge pay for this wonderful tool.

One thing

I usually use Canva on my school laptop for some of my classes. I downloaded Canva on my phone so I can also use when I’m not aloud to bring my laptop or when it needs to be fixed. It works fine on my phone and it took some me some time to get used to it. But while I was uploading some videos that was not long or short. I uploaded only 2 when it started to break. The first video I posted originally to my design was only 18 seconds but for some reason it was grainy and glitchy. I figured it was okay for now since I would save the video to my photo gallery and it would stop being like that. But then when I uploaded the second video it was fine at first and then started glitching and showed the video as loading for 2 minutes. So I just tried to wait for that, but when I tried to upload the THIRD video it wasn’t working. It didn’t say error or anything it just stopped working. My gallery of videos and picture and audios that I made/uploaded just disappeared for some odd reason. I tried closing my app and the same thing happened. I closed the app maybe 7 times. I even tried restarting my phone but for some reason it didn’t work. This never happened on my laptop so I’m confused. So Canva can you please look into this to see if it’s just my phone or it’s the app! Thank you for reading this!

Excellent

As daft as it might sound, I was always put off getting Canva due to how much everyone raved about it. I finally took the plunge, and I’m so glad I did. It’s amazing! There are so many designs to choose from, and simple features, like being able to resize a design automatically for various social media platforms with just one click, are incredibly useful. The ability to post directly to my platforms instantly or schedule posts has actually saved me money, as I used to use third-party apps for this. The only thing it’s missing is the ability to edit or reply to social media comments, but that’s not what Canva is for. I love it and would encourage you to pay for the full subscription.

Alsoooo…. Sry I forgot these details

I’ve tried other apps like iMovie, but the instructions were all to confusing. But Canva introduced a new kind of easy instructions, ya know. So simple and yet, makes you feel like you know something everybody else don’t. Like the AI helped me find stuff, and the other stuff I figured out by myself (I just wish the ai was more talkative and would form friendships with me… what is wrong with that? I do it with Alexa and Siri!) Also, I’m glad that they let you have the option of picking what Template ur using ( I usually use the blank one… my Creations are kinda better then the ones already made… to me! But I’m glad you have options)! I wish they had a like a trailer options, like if you were trying to make a movie but first needed a trailer… ya know? But whatever, I usually just make my own. Thx so much, developers, again. Im only 12 and yet I already am in love with something… this app!!!! CANVAAAAAAAAAA ISSSSS TTHHHEEEE BBBBESSSSTTTT APPP IIIINNNNNN TTTHHEEE WWWOOORRRLLDDDD!!!!!! Other than text messages (😂) God blessssssss! (Except that is costs so much! Like, if you get premium, then why do you still have to pay like $60 for a hoodie? Bro, I can go to Love In Faith and get a friggin’ hoodie for $25! And, why is EVRYTHIMG COST STUPID MONEY). I would/also wouldn’t recommend this app to people who have no bank account, are/is broke, and/or just wants something to use) Zorry!

I miss the old app

The old app was so much easier to use. The new one sucks and is unnecessarily difficult compared to what it was.

Read this if your a artist💖😮

Are you the kind of artist that needs strokes, layers, and erasers that erase a teeny, tiny mistake without ruining your art intirely? Well then*Canva* is not….for you…BECAUSE
1) For all artists like me, I understand they do art differently, but I would like to request the eraser to be normal. This app is great for brochures, slideshows, and designs, but the eraser is a OBJECT eraser. If you don’t know what that means, that means it erases all the strokes, hard work, and detail you put with your art. I suggest object erasing can be a option for the next update, but please make another option for the eraser like, a normal eraser where you just erase small things without having to destroy your work.
2) The limit of strokes, items, and things, aren’t for me. Making art is needed to have unlimited strokes, features, ideas, decor, and making a limit isn’t helping. We artists need more!
3) LAG. How we all hate it. Out of all the drawing games I’ve played, the lag didn’t do so hard…and told me to get rid of strokes. All of the problems above connect, because first, erasing destroys the art, second the limits of strokes, items, sticky notes, etc, cause the lag.
4) Please, add layers. I do not like how all the tools just over lap. The highlighter helps to color, but it go’s over my outline of art. So, if your a artist with detail, consider before downloading!!!! Thank u ☺️🥹💖

I would recommend it, but until they change this I really don’t.

I just put five stars to be seen, but seriously I am very angry right now, I’ve had Canva for a few years now and have loved it! I wouldn’t mind if some of the things are pro, but it’s gotten to the point where the non-pro things are really ugly, sketchy, and just bad in general. Like I’ve had lots of apps that have vip, or pov, or something that costs extra, and I’m fine with that. But everything that Canva has that’s looks good is pov. I was just doing a design trying to look at wallpapers, and literally all the ones that had a design were pov, the ones that were plain were non-pov. I mean I love Canva and it has be so helpful and fun for me, but this is ridiculous. I try to do a VoiceOver and it says only 26 characters.

That is very view words, it says I can purchase more if I want. I really don’t wanna sound rude, pls I really Hope that Canva has read this. Please would you make it a little bit better for your customers? I would recommend it, but until they change this I really don’t.
