  • Excellent Appointment App

I’ve been using the App to make appointments for the past couple of years! Great App!
  • Good appointment book app

Would be a PERFECT appointment book app if you could set a “repeat” standing appointment. I do nails and my clients have standing appointments every two weeks. If I could add a “repeat” in the appointment screen it would save a lot of time filling in my book and working around time off.
  • Simple appointment, easy to use

Please add the function of copy. I had a client that repeat the appointment every week and need the option to repeat or copy.
  • Fits the bill!

I needed a simple way of entering patients names and Phone numbers to make appointments wherever I am with my iPad mini and or phone. I wanted to use it for personal appointments too. Rendezvous was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been using for several years. The support is fantastic. Several times I’ve been panicked due to my lack of IT knowledge. The support team walk me back from the edge. Thank you rendezvous.

  • Rendezvous 2.1.2

Love this app for my clients appointments
But I manually have to put there yearly appointments in manually! And then if they change I manually go back in on the clients appt. and move each one manually that’s the only thing I have a problem with so to do that does take to much time so when I get home I might be the clients over a week to stay on track of how many weeks until they come back and on clients list where appointments are I then take a pic and send it to them so they will have a updated yearly appointments that can be a job alone but I still love this app
    Thanks

    Developer Response

Hi Dee Glad you love Rendezvous. As for repeat appointments here is why we don’t offer this feature: Many calendar apps such as Apple’s own and Google’s have this feature and we contemplated long and hard as to whether the repeat feature would be included in an appointment app. We decided not to include it for the sake of ease of use. Sure, a repeat feature is useful to individuals for listing their own appointment schedule, but the complexities in dealing with multiple client appointments a day, some overlapping, far outweigh the convenience. Here’s why: Repeat features can hide conflicts so the use of sophisticated exception program routines are critical. Exceptions must be handled gracefully for all possible conditions, especially if you edit any of the repeat appointments. For instance, if you move an appointment one day forward do you want all of the future appointments to adjust to this new time and date, and if so what if this shift conflicts with another appointment on that day/time? Or, if this is a one-time change, or one appointment is canceled? The App will need to interact with you; asking you what to do. And how do you want conflicts handled – double-book them or alert you as you might have forgotten that another client had booked that time and date – like if one client repeats every 2 weeks where another every 3 weeks – somewhere down the road these appointments will conflict). Either way the number of manual adjustments can become messy and confusing. Holidays and your time off also have to be considered. Designing the user interface for the on-screen guides must be intuitive with good feedback. The learning curve for handling such exceptions is time consuming – something that busy personal services pros may not have the time to master. You will be asked a lot of questions like: “You’re changing a repeating event. Do you want to move only this occurrence to MM/DD/YY XX:XXAM/PM or change the date for all future events.” or… “Possible Incorrect Dates in Series. Please thoroughly check the list of dates to see whether the repeat dates are what you expect. You should also validate there are NO conflicts.” This is why we have not included the repeat feature in Rendezvous. Here’s how one of our users handles repeats. If the appointment is a weekly repeat she uses the Week View to do at least 4 to 8 weeks of repeats by sliding to each future week and creating a new identical appointment then moving onto the next week. It’s a bit time consuming but she gets no conflicts or date surprises. BTW, we have discovered in our research that the most changed appointment times are for those that have preset repeat times. Further, Rendezvous was created to replace a paper day planner (no day planner can do repeats) and just $4.99. This is not to say that we may add the feature as an add-on in the future. Again thank you for your input.
  • Lost all after today's upgrade

I loved this app until I performed updates today, and lost all prior and future apps. Glad I still use a month-at-a-glance

Had this user contacted our support group we could have guided him to get the data to load from iCloud.
  • Best appointment app for me

This app is by far the best I have found and, believe me, I have tried and rejected quite a few. But this app is different. It mimics my old day planner so getting used to using it was a breeze. And having all my appointments and client info in one place is a real timesaver.

Plus it works on my iPhone too so I'm never without my appointment book.

  • Even more impressed

I am so pleased with this app. I've been using it for a year on my iPad and now it also works with my iPhone. Just great!
Being able make client appointments from anywhere is terrific. Plus I can view and change existing ones. The phone and the iPad are always in sync.
And so easy to use too.
  • Now it works on the iPhone!

I've been using this for over a year and it's so easy to use. Now that it works on the iPhone I have my appointments with me all the time. I love it even more.
  • Good app

Doesn't have reoccurring appointments and I can't put an address or a second number for my clients. Also, can't make screen any bigger wording is a bit small. But for the most part this is a good app....
