Will not scan photos
When I press Search Photos, nothing happens; then the app crashes.

Just downloaded this after reading a story in RD about the developer. I was intrigued so I wanted to check it out. The camera mode appears to work fine, but when I select the option to scan photos, the app crashes, starts scanning then just closes.

Great tool for parents!
I came across this app after hearing of a close friend who’s child was diagnosed with eye cancer. This is a great, free tool for parents to do an at-home test before seeing a specialist.
Won’t work
I tried to contact via app support instead of writing a negative review, but was unable to contact you through that method. I updated to the most recent version, but the “buttons” do not work consistently. As soon as I push “search photos,” everything freezes. I’ve tried closing and restarting the app. I have allowed photo access. I thought y’all should know so it could be addressed. Will change my review once I am actually able to use the app properly. Thank you.

Can not access photos on iOS
The app is not correctly requesting access to the iPhone’s photos nor camera, making it functionless.
(An error message appears saying access has been denied, but the app never requests access nor does it appear as an option in the settings-privacy-photos menu).

Not working on my iPhone 7 Plus
I downloaded and installed this and when I selected screening or search modes it just shows a blank screen (screening mode) and does not attempt to access the camera. Search mode says it can’t access photos but it doesn’t try. It didn’t appear in my settings either to change anything. It’s as if it didn’t even get as far as making the request to access the resources.
I heard about this on a podcast and I searched for it by name (Cradle) and I assume this is the one the scientist was talking about.

Full of bugs does not work
It doesn’t recognise my camera, when I would like to switch views it quits the app.
In the setting I also cannot see the app.

Thought a nostril was an eye and missed all white pupils
My daughter was born with a cataract. I knew I had photos of her eye before surgery with a white pupil but wanted to see how the app worked and if it saw the cataract before I did around 2 weeks. This app scanned over 10,000 photos on my phone and the only photo of her it flagged for a white pupil had both of her eyes closed. It had also decided her nostril was an eye. It’s a nice idea but there’s a lot of kinks to work out.
