  • Fantastic point&click

I'm an old adventure fan and truly belief that TJD1 and 2 are the best games after Lucasfilm stopped making such gems. The story is funny and interesting, graphics and music are truly remarkable. I recommend a headset to fully enjoy the sound. Looking forward to more. $5 very well invested. R.I.P. Simon. A true fan.

  • Spectacular

I really enjoyed this game, one of those apps that you know was developed from the heart. Great story, puzzles, music, characters & voices. 5 stars and keep those chapters coming!!
  • A book you can't put down

I just finished and all I can say is wow! I was so engrossed from start to finish. The story gets better and better while the atmosphere is wonderful. Its also all so fresh and original.
  • A rare gem

Right up there with the Room, or City of Secrets. This is just a charming game, rich in scenery and personality and with just the right level of challenge to stay entertaining even when you don't know the next steps.

If you haven't tried the first, definitely go back and get it right away. I've played a LOT of point and click on the iPad and this is one of the best. The faces are styled after African masks, the city is somewhere between New Orleans and Gotham city. I can't wait to see what this studio comes up with next!

  • Awesome

This game just keeps giving and giving. I almost never spend money on games and never more than $.99, but after playing TJD1, I wanted to support these designers. Having now played through TJD2, I can definitely say it was money very well spent.
I also am very grateful for protagonists who are not white males. Why is this so hard for other developers to try? That was another reason for my support. Keep up the good work and hurry up with part 3!

  • Longer than 1!

I liked the direction of one but it was short. I couldn't complain for free but I bought 2 and it was well worth a few days relaxation. I don't know why I like this game instead of waiting doe it to be free like every other. It's just quality and the music is good. Too bad Simon passed :(
  • Great game!!!

I just finished chapter 2 and it was better than chapter 1!!! I can't wait for chapter 3! I hope you have ideas for another game, I'm looking forward to to the next adventure in gaming!
    We will all miss Simon.
As for the complaint that it is too mature for children, well there is nothing overtly adult and kids don't understand innuendo as adults do. They just see the adventurer .

  • Great story, wonderful voices, super music--

--plus excellent graphics, plenty of detail, tongue-in-cheek humor, endearing characters--this game has it all. There is one pretty inscrutable puzzle at the end where a hint button would have been helpful.

When you finish there is a nice "behind the scenes" section like the ones on movie CDs.
  • Can't wait for chapter 3!

I love point and click games and Journey Down was a good one. Top notch graphics, solid music and characters, fun puzzles. Best of all the story was interesting and intriguing. Hope it's not a long wait for chapter 3.
  • Rarely Do I give 5 Stars

In over 4 years Ive given only 3 other games 5 stars. This game was done so beautifully with awesome graphics, great soundtrack and exciting storyline I just had to give it 5 stars. Great job on the rainy street!! It was beautifully done.
