Horrible game
I love football and have coached for almost 20 years at the high school level. This may be the worst football game I have ever played. It is nothing more then a glorified game of rock-paper-scissors. The play selection is random, and ultimately meaningless.Biggie_712
Very nice game.
The only issue I have is when playing the game on my 5th gen iPod, I have a hard time reading the cards and seeing the play on the field. A zoom feature would be nice. :)Zombiefy
Good game. Needs some updates
The base game is really solid. Dies a good job simulating football. The IAP should be include IMO. The game also needs some update. The game and results feels slow and I wish they were faster. The game also needs a forfeit or concede option in season mode. Riding a game out to the end when you are getting blown out or up by a ton is dull.Show lessHappyloaf

Plays quickly with many options for solo play, including seasons and quick knock outs. Fun to play, will be even better when online play arrives, but is excellent value even now.ChristopherTD
Great game play, needs online
They did a great job translating the board game to iOS! I love the graphics of the plays and it computer can put up a decent challenge. The only thing stopping it from being a 5 star game is lack of online play, I hope future updates at it.ball927

Good game like the board game. Needs patch which fixes the app crashing if podcast is playing.Jawsvvvvv
Good, but better AI please
This game is a complete guessing game. There are no real football odds for plays, so strategy doesn't really work. 3rd and 25? The AI calls a run defense. There just doesn't seem to be any thought besides random for the computer calls. I love it otherwise, though we need stat tracking and a leaders page for season play.Show lessBlkdymnd
Good Start
This review is geared towards those who already have the board game.
It is a faithful rendition of the game. Like other reviewers, I take issue with the dice disappearing. Plus sometimes I notice the dice change numbers. The AI taking forever to make a decision. Personally the main thing that is lacking is the ability to go back and see what plays have been called. That is something that ought to be easy to look at trends in opponent’s play calls.
I hope in the future these issues can be remedied so I can raise my rating.Show lessJB112358
Excellent boardgame conversion
This game is fantastic! The complaints about graphics are silly. They look sharp and are cards and dice, not the full motion action of a madden-like video game. The translation from boardgame to ios is superb and a lot of fun!Brandonleehelm
