It doesn't work
The app doesn't let choose date and month. It gets you back to the current date. If the possibility to choose the exact date is the paid function then the free version of this app is absolutely useless.

Great app-love the notifications screen view
Great app-love the notifications screen view. It helps when you email Martin(the developer) from within Support button and he responds and tells you how to add widget to Notifications screen. Now I'm happy with it. Will keep playing with it. Works very well right now. There is an in-app purchase option to unlock unlimited dates/entries. Otherwise, this is like a freebie with only a trial version/limit of 3 entries.

Countdowns! (But only 30 days away.)
The app description says nothing about only being able to input dates within the next month unless you want the In-App Purchase. I was excited because I like the look of the Notification Center widget, but forget about it, it's not useful at all unless you want to buy.
Looking to replace Days Left - this isn't it
Only a month of stuff to countdown in the free version - I don't begrudge anyone trying to earn money for their efforts but there is no calendar integration not even the option to automatically add holidays. If you want me to upgrade you need to adhere to the freemium model and make the upgrades with it while providing a useful free version to get me hooked. As it is now, the only value-add for this app is the inclusion on the notification window and that's a standard iOS 8 capability. This thing doesn't even automatically capitalize the first letter in the input field. Lazy Dev for sure.

Good and bad
As a free app, this is useless. But if you pay the $1.29, it is a great app. However, t could be improved by adding the ability to alter how many of your countdowns appear in the ios8 today page. I don't want all of my countdowns listed there. it would be great if you could add the ability to choose how many are seen.
