  • Nice but not perfect

    As others mentioned, it's buggy
  • REQUIRES FULL ACCESS TO FUNCTION. AVOID!

Requires “full access” to function.. Funny how it doesn’t say so on the product page because the author knows nobody will buy it otherwise. If you bought this as I did, report it as a problem and get a full refund. Not sure why Apple went down this road with keyboards. :(
  • So inconsistent that I can't write this review with iKeywi

I bought this keyboard to get the swipe gestures to move the cursor. It works ok but is overly sensitive. Swiping over two keys moves the cursor about 5 characters so you have to make very small movements.

The 5th row of keys is nice but messes up the bindings. For example, the delete button doesn't work and thus registers that I tapped the return key below it.

The keyboard doesn't work nicely with several apps and crashes so you have a blank space where the keyboard should be. You have to kill the app to get the keyboard to load.

In summary, when it works, it's really nice. When it doesn't (and it doesn't work often), it's really frustrating. These are mostly bugs that I assume could be fixed so, like someone else said, treat it like an Alpha with potential to be really cool.

  • Soooo close.....

GREAT idea, but like another person said, glitchy. There is a slight delay that just makes typing almost unbearable. Somehow I make more mistakes than ever, so it's even slower when u have to correct.
BUT, it is the best idea yet. Almost totally customizable and with the 4th row. PLEASE fix it!
  • Nice idea but frustrating to use

Cursor keeps jumping into a different position on the screen as you type. You spend more time re-positioning the cursor and correcting the mess it has left behind. At the moment, not useable in my opinion.
    Nice idea though.
  • Very Very glitchy

I couldn't even use it to write this review. It's a good idea, but it is all over the place. Needs a lot of refining. You have to type very slow or you are fixing all the mistakes. Missed spaces, moves to new places on it own, etc. good in theory, but needs fixing.
  • Nice but....

I need to be able to use my short cuts that I accumulated over the years. I can still use all my short cuts with the original keyboard. This severely limit the benefits of your apps. Please correct. Thank.
  • Buggy but promising

Definitely still buggy, but promising. It's the only keyboard I've found with "swipe for arrow keys" which is a feature that I really want, so hopefully they'll get it fixed up.
  • Works well, but not always...

In case of this review, i had to switch back to the stock keyboard as the ikeywi makes the text invisible. I would like to disable predictive text and make the keys larger. I love swiping to move the cursor though.
  • Wish I'd have read the reviews first...

Because I was so excited about the swipe selection, I bought this before reading the reviews. Not good. Keys are small, I make tons of typos, swipe selection is very fast even when I change the speed, auto-correct is a mess, etc. I would not recommend purchasing this.
