Good game

You shouldโ€™ve added some more levels

I call this the WORST game ever.

Why.. MAKE ME WASTE MY MONEY JUST TO PLAY? I would rather get Scratch 2 on PC then waste my familyโ€™s money on this! Every โ€œgoodโ€ reviews here make me think they are rich. Good for rich people. BUT NOT FOR ME! Roblox is also better. Minecraft. So many better games! All the good coding games steal and take money. Others you just need to pay to download, I literally am gonna make more video games on scratch jr and scratch 2! Terrible game. Do not buy it unless your rich like Richie Rich. - Eddie Myrchak

Great app for early elementary!

I love the Foos app because it is designed to work really well with early elementary students. It has a great story line and lovable characters. Itโ€™s challenging enough so that students do not get bored. It is very engaging and allows students to move through the levels at their own pace. It also allows them to challenge themselves and build their own levels. I love using this app in my first grade classroom.

Requires singing up for an auto-renewing subscription

As title says, you canโ€™t even try out the game first, you must sign up. No thank you.

Codespark is the best!

I began using the Codespark app as part of an elective for my elementary school students. I was quickly impressed by the ease at which they were able to develop the skills introduced by the app. My students have absolutely fallen in love with Codespark and are ecstatic with each update. Iโ€™ve found myself more and more impressed by the app, and the ways that theyโ€™ve enhanced my student engagement. Each time I open the app, I find new ways to introduce a variety of topics! Big thumbs up!!!

Educator Endorsement

As an educator of this amazing app, I wholeheartedly endorse its ability to teach students about many coding and programming concepts in a fun and engaging way. Many apps available today strive to do what codeSpark Academy has created, but fall short everytime.

Excellent Computing Educational Tool

CodeSpark is excellent a great app for education it helps give the students practical experience at coding. Student just think they playing games but in fact they learn key skills for computing. Would highly recommend this app/programme to anyone.

Great for coding

I use this app with my school class to promote coding and using algorithms. I like the progression and how you can explore and create your own levels. Would recommend to any Primary school teachers.

Excellent app!

This app is perfect for my junior students. They love the app and are getting very good with coding. I have had parents ask me about it also as their children rave about it at home!

Not suited to iPhone X / terrible value

Update: not worth it. Downgraded to 1 star. More aspects of the app simply donโ€™t work. Pity, the kids liked the few bits that worked. Even if those got fixed, not worth the money.

โ€”โ€”-

The layout of the Ul requires swiping near the bottom which gets confused with the swipe up gesture. This makes it infuriating for children to use.

Parts of the app simply donโ€™t work - eg. catching falling items in a basket. They always fall through regardless of how you position the character.

The signup process was painful. It kept getting stuck after purchasing the subscription. Only after multiple restarts and force quits did it finally go through.

Too early to tell if itโ€™s worth it.
