Very Useful, Well Designed For Listening
This app enables me to listen to a list of favorite chapters, or replay a chapter as long as I want to, or even replay a verse, so I can listen to it till I have it fully understood or memorized. Sometimes the dramatized background music is a little obnoxious it’s so loud, for instance in Psalms, but usually it subsides in a short time, and then I will be able to enjoy a better balanced sound track. The reader (I forgot his name) does an expert job with emphasis, and his excellent intonation facilitates both listening and understanding, in my opinion. Finally, I study using dozens of versions of the Bible, and have found that this is actually one of the best versions, correctly conveying the most accurate meaning as it often corrects the mistranslations and errors of other versions.Show lessPaul Burdo
Very soothing voice
It’s a GREAT App. It took a minute to set the preferences, but thankfully I have someone who did it all for me. With having vision problems, it’s a great way to “read” the Bible without having to read.
Sometimes, more recently, this APP will stop playing. I don’t know if this is a glitch or maybe this iPhone. 15 February 2024Show lessyhnpif008

Out of all I've tried, this is best. Easy to get to specific Books, it helps visually impaired a great opportunity to "read" regularly. I am not a fan of the background music. At first it was just OK, but now is a great distraction. I wish there was a way to shut music off.TheresaPlante

Please add a search option to enable us to find certain topics on God’s word to be able to search about any given subject when we are looking for answers. If it’s not possible to search a topic and it bring us directly to a screen with all scriptures on that searched subject from both Old and New Testaments, then add a tab button at the top or bottom for searching it. I finally found the right Audio Bible App. This is it. So much more understanding for me. Really nice way to keep up with where you left off. I would also enjoy this app more if there was an option to mute the background music and noise. Sometimes the music is so loud that sometimes I’m unable to make out what the readers are saying, and quite frankly, the music is mostly annoying because it’s distracting, not because it’s bad. Best read ever!
I absolutely love how it reads to me. For some reason when I read I get so relaxed I fall asleep not to long after I get started. It’s frustrating. Butttttt with this app it made it so much easier for me. I just have to listen and enjoy the word of God. ❤️Dr.Pepper22
