Lots of users have told us how they find the reading speed to be too fast and that setting the reading speed to slow produces an echo, so we have reduced the default reading speed and taken out the option of a slower reading speed. If you have already downloaded a chapter, delete and re-download to get the slower version.

  • Most accessible version I found

    I helped my grandmother in her 90s download this app, since her eyesight no longer allows her to read her Bible. The simple, high-contrast menu and easy navigation were the most accessible I could find and the easiest for her to use of the options I showed her.
    If I could change anything it would be to have more voice options - there’s nothing wrong with the voice that’s used, but I think she would find a some accents easier to understand. But I appreciate that it’s possible to change the speed of the voice, which is very helpful for her.
