Needs Int’l Support
The app is overall good and easy enough to use, but it needs international support. Seems silly to me that if you want to pay with MercadoPago in a country other than your own you need to create a different account and go through a whole different process. This isn’t the case with Apple Pay, Google Wallet or RappiPago, so why does MercadoPago operate this way? In 2022, it seems a bit backward. Awful app full of bugs
I tried to do a simple transaction, and I ended up getting a headache due to the amount of bugs and their own ads trying me to force a product I didn’t want. This app is as bad as their e-commerce platform. I would recommend hiring a better QA team for this lame appbruno_bcv

Terrible servicio al cliente - No competente a nivel internacional
He sido usuaria de Mercado Pago x casi 25 años y desde hace 18 años resido en el exterior. Me han bloqueado el acceso have mas de un año x no tener un documento de identidad de Argentina reciente. Los procesos de validación son lamentables y perjudican al cliente. Es lamentable que las regulaciones del sistema no permitan que expandan negocios a nivel internacional.
Si esas barreras se cayeran podrían beneficiar a muchas personas vulnerables.Show lessMelbournians

They spam you with emails. If you don’t set up an account, there’s no way to unsubscribe from their daily emails.
If you’re a foreigner, you can’t even sign up. So you can’t even unsubscribe from their spam (which you never signed up for in the first place).

A fintech app with no service and full of bugs

, no support... a fintech app like this without help service should be a crime. Not use this for professional services, they are not serious or professional, they do look like a criminal group that is not working like a bank (sending money worked only sometimes, if you need to contact help you are doomed). the way they marketed this app for the users, it’s wrong and they should be responsible for the wrong marketing and system bugs that make this financial app risky to use, don’t waste time or money with this group, no one will answer you and the company have not organized help information or training for its workers to help people when a problem arises. Just to be clear, a real bank app works 100%; they have helping teams to answer you any time, in case anything happens. So, think many times before using this stupid app, from a group that does not give any time or dedication to improve the client experience (which is one of the worst I ever had).Show lessTechCustomer

Hace tres semanas pedí un lector point, es el tercero q me envían y no funciona. Necesito empezar a cobrar en mi local y no obtengo respuesta. Me comuniqué con un agente y me van a enviar UN CUARTO lector, que ya se q no va a funcionar. En contra de mi voluntad me lo envían. Es un gastadero de recursos y de tiempo y no obtengo solución.
