You may try to use it until you need customer service, then you’ll have a real hard time getting to a real person to check your case. They even gray out the phone contact after one single call… so good luck getting anything resolved…. What a joke of customer service. 😞DestMP

Blocks cards constantly
Not great for expats, This app blocks US cards constantly. We try calling support and they seem clueless, they just tell us to delete the card and try again the next day. Absolutely abysmal support.ChikaCostaRica

An absolutely horrific app. Wasted a ton of time and wasn’t able to make it work. Logging in is an enormous challenge, then it doesn’t accept a photo of my passport. It’s absurd that some websites use just this payment system — missing out in customers like myself big time.Alevtusita
Puppies
Try to buy a puppy??? Worst night mare ever!!! 9 out of 10 people selling dogs on the site are fake!!! Not one has any dog !!! There just trying to steel money from people.... Don’t understand why the site doesn’t check these people out before hand ???? Do not trust in this company!
Everything worked well until NOT! I had a double charge. I called the back and disputed and all was ok. Until months later they came back and claimed the payment again. Because the time from first dispute Chase won’t do anything another than contact Mercado Pago but there is no phone number registered. I have been trying to deal with Mercado Pago foe 5 months and all you can get is some Maria texting and going in circles. BE Careful with this company that doesn’t even have a contact to talk to someone! Scam!!!Show lessatoyos
Banking information stolen Beware
Hope this doesn’t happen to you but I added card information on Saturday and on Sunday someone was trying to get all the info by phone. They just needed the info you add to the app. Now Mercado Pago has been hacked and can’t access losing my money. I have been asking for help but now one is answerAbcarranza

Meet someone who isn’t, don’t count on Marcado Pago, since they will finish your dispute even though you had never heard again about the merchandise you bought. Good when everything’s all right, terrible when it doesn’t.
