Old version is back!

I’m so glad the old version is back, thank you! One thing I will say though, (I also mentioned this the last time a left a review, just didn’t explain it) I wish you guys would fix being able to select the time range. Whenever I try to adjust the time range, I can only change the ending, not the beginning. The beginning time range is stuck at January 1, 1970 and won’t let me change it to anything else.

Bring the old version back

Please bring the old version back. (Before update 6.0.0)

everything is so confusing now and it seems like some features and filters have been removed, like sort by non-favourite. I don’t know why all the useful features have been removed. It’s even harder to organise photos

Update has made it worthless to me!

My primary use of this app was to compress recent photos and videos where I didn’t need the resolution that was captured. As redesigned, the compress screens don’t have any filtering or sorting options which makes finding recent videos and photos close to impossible.

Nov 18 Update: Thanks for adding the sorting by date to the Compress section, but I still need to select from individual folders as well just videos or just photos to compress.

Please consider these and all possible sorting and filtering options.

BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION, PLEASE!

Today I opened the app and all of a sudden, everything was different. It updated without my knowledge and I honestly strongly dislike the new version. The old version was far more convenient, I could click on an album, select photos and choose whether to compress, delete, or do whatever else to them. It was so easy to find the photos I wanted to compress. Now, it’s harder to do so because I can’t pick photos from a specific album in this new version. I really hope what I said is taken into consideration and the old version is brought back, please, and thank you. I would’ve given the old version a higher rating (the only thing I didn’t like about it was how I couldn’t change the beginning time range).

The best of the not great options

I want to love this app and it comes so close, so I give it 5 stars. Despite a couple of things. 1: we really need to be able to assess photos and videos in chunks. For example, when I am reviewing similar photos, there is no function that limits how many I have to review. Let’s say I have 10 minutes, but there are hundreds of similar photos. The app auto selects some of the photos to delete. But without being able to select a quantity of photos to assess at a time, I might run out of time before I make it all the way through the similar photos. That leaves me to either throw caution to the wind and hope for the best in terms of what is deleted, or give up and try again another day. I really want to be able to choose a given number of photos to review at a time. 2: the app doesn’t always load the photos that are being suggested for deletion. They just appear as a black box. That’s a real gamble, hoping that you’re not deleting something important. I recently accidentally deleted some photos from a family member’s funeral service this way. Lucky of course that I could recover them, but it ended up being a massive waste of my time. I still think this app is better than others that swipe, but it’s so hard to work through photos in a manageable way. Please please help. Thank you.

Best one! Tried 20+ photo duplicate/similar cleaners

So far this is the best one I’ve come by. I can see the details of each duplicate or similar photo to best decide which to get rid of. And I can get more results for similar images to evaluate and declutter my 15,000 photos.

Great for organizing into albums!

I needed to delete duplicates, and organize thousands of photos into albums for easier access. This app made it feel like a game! Now, I spend a few moments a day just going through the thousands of photos, but it has streamlined the process better than any other app I’ve tried!
