Extremely slow to start up

The app (pro version) has become very slow to launch sometimes. I have seen it take more than a minute (unacceptable) although this is inconsistent. I am not sure but it may be related to how long it was since the last time I opened it.

Horrible changes

This used to be my go to for rugby info. There’s not really a lot of internet providers for the overseas games I want to watch, so I downloaded the lite version. Eventually I decided I really liked the app and got the pro version. This was my go to app for years and now I have to pay a monthly subscription for information of the squad? Ridiculous and won’t be using this app anymore.

Thanks for touching base As we continue to increase our coverage it was necessary to add a premium section to the app. 80% of our content is still available for free.We are continuously adding more and better stats for our Ultimate Rugby + subscribers. All the best

DISHONEST. Pay $6 for pro now requesting $30 if I want access for the year.

I used this app happily for two years, allowing me to stay in touch with the goings on of other international competitions. The app then told me I wasn’t allowed to continue this access that I had become accustomed to. Requesting a payment of $6 to continue using the app as I had been for the past two years. Now a year later and without finding anything that compares to the access this app provides, I have paid the $6 they requested from me. Only to find that I am now in the exact same position I was in a year ago, only this time, $6 out of pocket. They are now advising if I wish to use the app as I did previously for “free” for two years, $60 is the price. Now this is obviously an absurd amount and I will have to delete the app and try again to find another. Writing this so others don’t fall for this ruse.

Disappointing

For the price, would expect it to be perfect. However it doesn’t update the widget automatically, doesn’t take into account all selected favourites, just not good enough. Didn’t even give me last nights England 7s result. Will not renew.

Nothings changed?

Really enjoy the app but have recently subscribed to the premium feature for the extra bonuses. However there have been no change in my status and I can’t access premium content even though now subscribed. Can find no other way to complain.

Has been a week now since I sent an email to their support after advised from this review. There has been no reply yet my account has still been charged. No help given.

Shocking to lock away existing features behind a further paywall!

UPDATE - To the developer - I bought this app long before you dreamt up UR+, so long before you decided to remove features from long standing existing customers. So I had access to numerous features which you then locked away behind a paywall. Hope that clears up any confusion.

I now barely use this, once goto, app after they took existing features and then locked them away behind a further subscription. Things like team lineups, which you could previously access now require a subscription. Terrible treatment of existing paying customers. I might have understood if it the app was free, but I paid for this pro version and then you decided to remove basic features unless I cough up more money. Poor show guys...poor show....

Hi there, UR+ is present on both the pro and normal app, purchasing Ultimate Rugby PRO only removes pop up ads from your app but you will need to subscribe to Ultimate Rugby+ for further access to all features and tournaments. Hope this clears up any confusion

Doesn’t load info correctly

Paid for the pro app and subscription, but the info of team names and data does not load only score. What’s the use of a score and just a number code for a team, but you don’t know what the code means? Contacted the support with no response and no update. It’s a shame as it’s the best info available when working.

pay for the app and still get nothing more than the free version

my faith in all things electronic has received another blow!!!!! i decided to buy this app as certain functions are now not available in the free version. after the purchase i still can’t see anything except a screen saying pay more. tried the restore functions as suggested in a previous review and surprise surprise nothing happens what a rip-off, i will be applying to get my money back from my card provider asap as services not given!!!!!!!!!!! cannot send emails to you cause apparently the page no longer exists. very very disgruntled indeed, as an add on several months after posting my review it is worse than ever, so i have deleted. all good things must come to an end!!!!!

Rip off

I initially paid for the pro version of this app and then, a few months later, the features I paid for are now going to cost even more money in the “ultimate” version. They suckered me in once to pay for an app, but not again. Very poor form.
