1.3.0

September 7, 2017

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Pixel Picker now uses a new bigger font to show the RGB and HEX values. This is to improve readability. Also updated the HEX format used when exporting a color.

This new version adds a big button to more easily select images from the main screen. Also, it introduces banner ads. Yes, we know that they can be annoying, but they help us funding further development of the app. If you like Pixel Picker, you can remove ads with an in-app purchase. Thank you for your understanding.

Reviews of Pixel Picker

  • Poor privacy & lack of updates

Don’t get me wrong. It does exactly what it says.

It’s just that there is something fishy about requiring access to your entire photo library in 2022, when other apps have no problem selecting a single photo at a time.

If you want a possibly better option, search for “Color Pro Picker.” $4, but it does it the same thing and actually has more features.

Rate this review as helpful if you think people should know about a competitor.
  • Privacy Issues

The app is perfect for what it needs to do. I was unhappy that you can’t just select photos from camera roll; regardless of what option you choose, it accesses/uploads your entire camera roll.
  • Great

Been using for a year and a half (I think, maybe more, maybe less ^^)
    Great app.
