Works brilliantly and so easy to install
Really don’t know why all the 1* reviews on here. Came across this extender when at a holiday rental and bought one for our home due to poor connection in the peripheries of our house.
Downloaded app, installed within 5 mins and all 3 nodes excellent connection: my house and garden now has full wifi connection.
Couldn’t recommend it enough although I have just bought the new iPhone so may be some on here have had issues with old IOS?

No English version available
I installed the app many time. It starts in English and then it switches to Chinese language. There is no option to change the language in the application. I might have to buy a beer router / AP. Very disappointed.
Can’t change time for the mesh
Could be a lot better for n terms of options on the app. One thing that bugs me is that I’m not allows to change the time zone for the unit and there’s no where in the app to. I guess they figured it was going to be used in only one country.

This app used to work in English but since the last few updates it’s in Chinese only which is not workable for many.
App No Longer Connects
I have a MW5 mesh which has transformed the WiFi coverage in my house for £89. In fact, as soon as I connected the primary unit to the useless BTHub5 router the coverage improved greatly. I could have thrown away the other two nodes (I didn’t, of course) and I would have had a better service than the BT Hub supplied. Now I have great coverage throughout the house and out about 20 metres. But the app was always flaky. Periodically it failed to connect to the network. Since I downloaded the latest version of the app in August 2020 it has never connected. The “help” messages it provides are no help at all. They look like they have been translated from Martian to English via Swahili. The WiFi coverage is still good but I am unable to manage it through the app. Sort this app out team. Please.
Version 3.5.5 released 15th October 2020. Still won’t connect. The Mesh is working but I can’t change the config or check activity. When the boxes eventually fail I’ll spend more cash on something less flakey.
Version 3.5.6 released 3rd December 2020. Releases come and go but still the app fails to connect to the network. I am going to delete it from my phone and use the freed up space for something useful. The mesh network keeps working but the app is just a pile of junk.

Other language
I been trying to change the language it’s still in Chinese or Japanese can change it back to English or Spanish
Turned Chinese
Turned to Chinese and I used Google camera translation app in another phone to try navigating the app and change it back to English, but there is no language settings in it and apparently it changed the entire region to china.
Great from the get go.
This creates a great coverage mesh.
I needed to extend my house WiFi way out to my summerhouse so we could enjoy streaming music and movies throughout the year, I actually packed the set of three away before winter and just unpacked them today. As soon as it powered up I easily connected a Smart Tv and iPhone to download apps on the tv. The summerhouse is about 20m from house and 30m from main hub.

Turning Chinese
After an update, the app just turned Chinese...how can I navigate the app if I can’t understand it? Is there a way to turn it back to English?
