Language change
The app is fairly good giving you a large selection of functions for the router, but since updating the entire app has changed its language to cantonese. I’m not sure how to change it back considering I can’t read it and that’s a shame.
Does what it says on tin
Started with 3 MW3s and all found BT router and meshed immediately. I didn’t use Cat 5 backhaul cables to link each box back to router. I did have to buy a 4th box to get coverage in other bedrooms. Phones and laptops do quick jump to nearest box as you move. Only downside: if your laptop is on 1 box and file server is on another transfer speed is MUCH slower. App has been fine for me. Would recommend.

Mesh is good. The app, not so much.
Priority #1 for Tenda Developers - Fix the firmware upgrade routine PLEASE!!!
Since I bought it (I have FIVE nodes) I wasn’t able to update the firmware because the process freezes at the end (keep telling me “Downloading 99%” forever). Otherwise, Product is good, easy to install and works well.

Can’t find MW3
This app has not been able to connect to my MW3 for many months. There is no other way I can change settings on that router!
Good UI poor meshing
It seems no matter where I go in the house my devices just connect to the central access point instead of the closest one. The result is that I only get half bars in most of the house. If I was interested in that I would have simply purchased and configured another router instead of spending 240 euro on a fancy mesh system. A shame.

Keeps Freezing - No DDNS or Firewall options
I have an iPhone 11 Pro and the app keeps freezing so I have to force close and reopen.
There is also no basic control for Dynamic DNS and no options to control the firewall.

Routers are working, though app does not recognize
I have the AC1200 and, though the routers are working and useable and do a great job of coverage, I can no longer control them through the app. Perhaps there was an update and the AC1200 system is no longer serviced through the app? Difficult to find answers. So... app is a waste or phone screen real estate anything the moment.

Still Doesn’t connect on cellular data
It works well and has some good features but it will not connect when I am not connected to the same WiFi. I emailed support and they just said it should work. Try again. I would like to be able to turn off/on devices when away from home. It used to work a couple updates ago.
Absolute trash.
You’re better off without it. First thing the app makes you do is rename your network and give it a new password, but when you got to connect it always tells you the password is incorrect. There’s also no way to bypass this. A hard reset later and I was up and running (kinda). (Side note: I bought a 3 node pack but only 2 will work. The 3rd keeps trying to connect, to no avail. When you call their 24/7 tech support it’s anything but. I got a message telling me to call back during normal business hours or leave a message, which I didn’t. The next night I received 2 calls from a number I didn’t know. I had to listen to both of the 10 second voicemails multiple times before I was able to hear/understand a word... “Tenda”. They may not be 24/7 but someone knows how to use a caller ID.)

Lacking in Features and Security
This app seems to be going downhill and started it’s decent roughly just short on 2 years ago.
From the very limited updates this app receives, I see no new much needed security improvements and a deeper level of control, needs more advanced options in the mix, instead the few limited options that were functioning nicely, are simply no longer.
My latest issue I noticed the app had stopped sending me notifications all of a sudden and when I try to reactivate my notifications on the apps all I get is “The Request to Obtain the Message times out.
