Decent hardware. Decent app.
I actually really have enjoyed my Nova system and it’s coverage in my home. Although I can’t lie, the lack of app updates and optimizations really make for a lackluster experience. Tenda updates their app a few times a year, which if you’re like me and have bugs in the app that cannot be remedied, it can be extremely frustrating.Show lessmrobstrong
It does the job
For a low budget mesh network, Tenda does a pretty good job. One of the main issues I have is updating firmware. I added two more novas to my setup and I tried updating firmware on the existing network but it wasn’t downloading. I was able to update the firmware by setting them each up independently, THEN update the firmware works. Kind of a pain, but it’s the only workaround. Can be better
I love my mesh system. I have 2 nodes, and the setup was awesome. Now a few months in I still can’t get my nose to update to the latest firmware. It always fails to update. Also the app can be buggy at times and not update when a node is powered off and powered back on again after a restart and you have to restart the app. Overall I get that this is a budget mesh system and they aren’t a big company, and that’s fine, I loved the price I paid for this mesh system and it’s a huge upgrade from a traditional one router setup for a big space. But I know you guys can get better, make the app more stable and snappy, more frequent updates to everything too. Just my bit of constructive criticismShow lessDVader90
Great app and Great products
Love the app Great router and Mesh MW3 setup together. Can’t wait to see the next update may be with what mesh device it sign into.. but I only run Tenda Products

Appallingly bad software ( how not to do it )
How can a manufacturer write software as bad as this ? I installed my mw3 mesh system , and the software stops working as other people have said, it pleases itself if it sees your devices or lets them connect , at all , if your lucky and it does , it then proceeds to show blank screens on status pages . Devices connect at random and disconnect as well wow ! I write this as someone who is technically very capable and been fixing Mac and pcs together with routers and networks since 1983. Really buy something different than Tenda mesh it’s grim 😬Show lessdavepalmer
Zero Connected Devices
Installed the MW3 and all good but app now not showing nodes and zero connected devices. Can the developer please confirm if and when this will be fixed otherwise I will be returning the MW3.
UPDATE: as I have some devices that are always connected and transferring data, the “maintenance schedule” wasn’t kicking in. I forced a reboot of the network by switching off the “delay reboot” setting and changing the time and once restarted the app started to show nodes and connected devices.
