Really great expense tracker
Does exactly what I need - track expenses in many different categories and give me a visual big picture and granular level understanding of everywhere my money is going This is the only app I’ve found that does the job and is simple.
I wish the background of the app was customizable, I would prefer a white background instead of the dark grey. Also, I wish there was an option to customize the view of the day, month, year in the top of the pie chart section since I only utilize the month and year options.Show lesskmbr_5
Works flawlessly, exceeded expectations
I’m now using it to record and document tax deductible expenditures. I initially used it to keep track of vacation expenditures, with free form descriptions of experiences before, during, and shortly after each expenditure - entering the information when convenient, using the purchase receipts. Went to London, Madrid, Casablanca, Fez, Rome, Pompeii, .... Usually entered events at the end of each day. extremely easy to learn and use.Show lessChessSavant
Love it
I absolutely love this app. Took me many deleted apps to find something simple like this one. All the other apps seemed like I need a PHD to understand them plus they need income and a set budget. Well, I don’t care about that. I simply want to know how much I spend and where. This app is incredible simple and quick. Love how it is all displayed on a pie chart. I can go back and edit easily. I’m so glad I found it. I’ve been using it for two months now. I mostly wanted to find out how much I spend on groceries and eating out. And the numbers stunned me! Ouch!Show lessKristiAft

😀Would have been 5 stars, but...
I’ve been using this app for several years because of its powerful simplicity and I love it. However, when I updated the app to the newest version (3.0), I went in to track a purchase and much to my surprise, the dates now show up in Russian. My notes and everything else (pie charts, categories, etc.) are still in English...it’s just the date showing up in Russian. Hope it’s something they quickly fix.Show lessSusan1683
A Poor Dental Student Recommends This!!
I’m a dental student so I’m really needing to budget! Unfortunately, I’ve not ever kept good records of my monthly, let alone yearly, spending habits. I got this app and have been logging all my purchases and think it will be a great thing to keep using and see where I can cut or increase my spending. This app is simple, user friendly, and to the point. I really love it and I had to try out a dozen different apps to find one I truly liked, since they all wanted me to connect my bank account info which I didn’t want to do. Super Helpful Expense Tracker
Keeping track of expenses is so much easier with a visual console, quick entry times, an automatic basic summary shown how much of the pie goes where. It's basic and very functional. All I can ask for more is to add (1) calculator function within to not have to switch apps (lazy, I know) (2) customizable ordering rules for the icons representing expense types and (3) more kinds of stats about expenses, like average days between purchases, frequencies, 80/20 breakdowns, etc - those are my top picks for new additions, and this is by far already the easiest and most functional expenses app I've found yet. 3 months of data now is showing interesting trends. Perfect for expense tracking
I love this app. One of the few ones I use daily and rely on. It is simple to use, IMHO nicely designed, and offers the flexibility to create new categories and group them, a must for me. It syncs to iCloud and offers export to CSV file so I always have the option to pull the data out and use it somewhere else. Also the option to use a widget to add any expense is very helpful. Makes it so much more convenient quickly adding any expense without having to open the app every time. Overall the app is well done and it gives me exactly what I need. Great work.Show lesshwend
Quick, simple, does the job
I tried three different apps simultaneously and although some other apps have more functions like tracking which establishments you spend money at and allocating budgeted amounts of money to specific items, this one does exactly what I want - it helps me track which categories I spend my money in and at the end of the month I have a pie chart. Just started using this app to track my daily and monthly expenses and I’m loving it so far. It’s simple and quick to use which I think will help me remember to use it regularly and is going to be so helpful for me with budgeting. Love the simplicity
Updated Review 5/5 - app now includes customizable categories. I seriously recommend this app in every finance conversation I have.
I was looking for an expenses calculator, and this was exactly what I needed. It's wicked fast to type in my expense at the checkout line and go on my way (so no need to track receipts anymore). The only thing I wish I could do would be to combine my categories. I want to track my car loan payments, fuel costs, and service expenses in their separate icons, but see them lumped together in the pie graph. (Right now just fuel and service are lumped.) if the category lumping becomes customizable, then I'll upgrade this app to a 5/5 stars 😊Show lessChaun Macktooth
