Stop spamming me with notifications!!!

I have just been BOMBARDED with over a hundred notifications that random people “need my help”. Why am I receiving this! I don’t even know these people!

New update ruins it

Been using the app for a long time and now it’s terrible because of automatically sending the message you physically have to hit send I want something to where If I desperately need help I hit one button and that’s it.

Hi Freshie, and thanks for reaching out. I agree with you it causes an extra step for the free version, but you have to understand why from our side. People were SPAMMING that button over and over hundreds of times for no reason. They just hit it because they could. We pay for 3rd party services and bandwidth every single time you press that button, we were paying more than we were making... a business can not survive that way. With having to press "send" we use your phones own software which alleviates the cost we had to take on. having said that, when you have the Silent beacon Device hooked up to your App, or if you purchase the monthly subscription we allow you to do that. So to sum up, because of the manner which some people were using / abusing the app we had to put in methods to make sure we did not go bankrupt. The Free version is still free and does everything as before, its just an extra step, but it is needed. I hope you will still continue to use our App and I hope you order our Beacon as well to see all the other unlocked features! Thanks Mike - Silent Beacon Rep

Silent Beacon

Don't waste your money!! I purchased the Silent Beacon product a year ago March and have never received it!! What good is the app without the product?? There is no business address that I can find. I have emailed and gotten no response (several times. I'm going to the Better Business Bureau with this. It's been almost a year!!

On IOS 10.2, the app hangs after sending a few texts.

Potential Lifesaver

I've been using this product while hunting to ensure that if I have an accident or I'm injured, my friends nearby know where to find me, and can help guide emergency medical professionals to my location. The app and device can literally be a lifesaver, and it gives me peace of mind to know I'll be able to direct friends and family to my location if something bad happens while I'm deep in the woods.

Ever since I heard about his app and having two young children I knew it was a must have. Your never know when or where you could be in a bad situation and having the Silent Beacon app could help save your life. I definitely have recommended it to all
My family members and they love the concept.
