They Broke It
This used to be an intuitive, time-saving app. I loved this app, but they broke it. All the 1-star reviews are true. How can you say you have been “fixing” glitches for almost an entire year, and it still be this awful? The prior version was great. Abandon this horrible new design, that you apparently can’t fix, and go back to the old. Ingenious. Buggy. Necessary.
The core concept of what Doodle does: allowing simple and easy time coordination is wonderful and needed. Unfortunately the modern implementation of this needs in a mobile app who’s text fields obscure UI buttons or that doesn’t show existing group polls even after logging into one’s account is is disappointing. Many functions also appear to continue requiring access to the mobile website, which at a certain point just becomes easier to use than what should be the most direct path to service usage (mobile app).Show lessclifster
The worst app ever!
Honestly the developers of this app should just stop developing and not call themselves IT people. Nothing synchronize is one website doesn’t know what the app is doing and the app doesn’t know what the website is doing it’s constantly asking me to connect to a Calendar it is just absolute garbage ... this is the one of the crappiest app I’ve ever seen!!Show lessezfoto
Unusable
First, the app’s UI is completely out of what it was with the original Doodle. Some essential functions are even not there.
Then, the app will sometimes shows surveys as blank rectangles, even when logged in.
The app lost its handy function to connect to iPhone’s agenda.
But the worst is if you go to check your agenda, when you come back to Doodle, it will reset your choices made before. So you have to start over. Very annoying.
Then, when clicking “Continue” to validate your choices, most of the time leads to an error page pops saying there’s problems with the server. That’s terrible.
Finally, to complete the Doodle, you’ll have no choice and resign to go to the website with one million intrusive ads.
That app is even not half baked, it’s a real nightmare. How can a genius app fell unprofessional like this? What even happened to the Doodle team?

Not only it became more difficile but how can you select your availability on a group poll? It was easy before!

Finding an alternative
I’ve used doodle for a long time. This latest version is terrible. You have to add times to all of your entries. Not user friendly. I’m currently looking at other apps that keep it simple.BCose
They got rid of features making it less user friendly
I’ve used Doodle Polls for about 5 years, here and there. They’ve made a major update with the app and now it’s hard to navigate, I can’t even find my poll by logging into the app, I have to go to the email I sent the link on originally and click that to get it to open the poll in my app. It doesn’t allow me to see all respondents without clicking on all the day/time options individually and checking for responses. It automatically puts me available on every time slot selected for the poll, I don’t get to vote like everyone else. To be honest, it’s completely useless and I’ll no longer be using it. Redesign ruined functionality
Doodle made organising with friends so easy. Recent redesign is trendy but style over substance.
Select 6pm start time, shows invitees 5pm. Try to add 5hr event starting at 7pm, error message because it ends next day (00:00). Not user friendly.
The tool no longer functions. The visual design doesn’t even look better - it’s jarring, high contrast. This isn’t a style app or brand experience - it’s a functional tool. Or it used to be. Please bring back a functioning easy-to-use doodle! 🖤Show lesspashworthpashworth
Awful since the update
This used to be a perfectly functional app, which was very useful. But the current version (as at Oct 2022) is terrible. It is completely unintuitive; gives different meeting times to the website (presumably a time zone thing but I cannot fathom how to fix it, even after attempting to follow their instructions); it loses polls/invites after submitting a response, even after selecting the option to receive updates; the presentation of options for voting is opaque and makes it incredibly difficult to view in the context of other calendar events (whereas the old version made this very clear); and it is just an unpleasant and frustrating user experience in every possible respect.
