Poor video controls
Will display recorded TV, and allows adjustment of bit rate. Big issue is that you can't fast forward or position the playback. So if the stream fails, you have to go back to the beginning of the recording. This makes the application unusable for viewing recordings if connection is less than perfect.Show lessDjh99

Does not work at all
Brand new wintv v8 on my local network in my home. App just spins and spins and never works. Tried rebooting etc. Hauppauge makes good hardware but has some of the WORST software in the industry.kbdrand
Missing Functions
No scheduler or record options on iOS9.2 iPad. Can stream channels or watch previously recorded video, but cannot schedule a recording or record a channel you are watching. These functions were present on iOS 7. No updates in over a year.Bioman50
No Sound!
It used to be an okay app but after the last upgrade, I can't get sound. I can't use the web app since it it uses flash. So for all of us who use iOS, out of luck.Plumies

Not quite
The latest version is not downloading when I try to update from the latest version in Apple Store. In addition the video is not clearly displaying with severe pixelation. I have the latest Windows 10 OS running HVR-2255 device. This was working until I updated to the latest OS.Bowlmeover
