Love the concept, execution is weak
Great idea - however the app has to be reloaded to change channels - even worse is that I have both iPhone and iPad apps. When I play any channel on my iPad it looks great, when I play any channel on my iPhone, I get the spinning iPhone circle in the middle of the screen into perpetuity.Qrank Player
Getting this App for Free is even to much
In a few words this Ap accompanies the equally disgusting Hauppauge Win TV which comes with Microsoft's horrendous Windows 8. This whole debacle replaced the incredible, ahead of it's time Windows Media Centre which in it's backward thinking MS decided to stop any support. This App has never been updated in all the time I've had to suffer it. Hauppauge should simply just go away. Total rubbish, buy a Mac if you have to use this rubbishShow lessmdilosa
Crashes while in 4G
app works best in WIFI but not on 4G. Also, cuts off after so many minutes while using the website URL site instead of app.Sue5066
Junk App
Assuming the app doesn't immediately crash when you open it, you'll quickly realize that it won't render video in landscape format and will only show the screen portrait (regardless of the iPad position). Fortunately, rotating the iPad generally results in the app crashing anyway. I was hoping the recent update to WinTV 8 might have helped but it didn't.
The developers really need to spend more time making this app work.Show lessSodbuster95

Bad app
I have two Hauppauge systems, a 1255 inside an old desktop and just got a new Broadway for another house. The Extend app works as described but with the Broadway, it doesn't work with an iPad. I called tech support and they were unaware of the problem. They checked it with their iPad with the same results. Think would have done that before the released it. Three stars for the 1255, the other two when they get the iPad problem fixed.Show lesseday46
Great app!!
I love the new WinTV app. It's a big improvement over the old app it replaces. Fixes the issues I had with rotating the device while playing live tv. Now works well.Kate and Graeme
This app crashes on iPhone 6
It is never work for me on iPhone 6 iOS 8.1.2. When I try try to add server immediately this app crashes and when I try to add Broadway it says unable to connect specified server.V362
