Doesn’t let you isolate the color

This app is womp womp. First- $2.99 a week?!??! In this economy?! Next the ridiculous, continuous ads that appear each I select the back button- dumb and frustrating. I got this app to test the color pop function and it is the most disappointing feature. At least in the free version. Samsung has the color pop function built into the phone FOR FREE!! Plus Samsung allows you to specify the color you want to highlight meanwhile this app only allows for specific colors, not even brown. Deleted this app immediately.

Too expensive!!

I've had this app for *years* but haven't been doing any color splash work for a long time. Today, I have a project, and I'm checking out my apps - to find out that the price of this has shot up tremendously. $30 for a year‽ $50 to own‽ (at least, I hope that buys it.) I could dig through my records for what the cost was when I last used it, just to see how absurd it has become, but I'll probably just move on to my other similar apps to find one that's reasonably priced for the functions available. At least some developers grandfather in users who have had the app for years- but nope. Not these guys.

I'm all for a living wage, don't get me wrong, but the cost of doing business surely hasn't gone up so much that every developer “needs” to charge $25-$50+ annually or $50~$100+ to buy. This isn't an all-around editor - it does one thing: it changes colors.

Now if the b/w recolor is fantastic it *might* be worth a ~$25, at most, purchase but who knows how well that feature works? I don't because I suspect that's unavailable unless I pay.

Wouldn't it be nice if Apple or Google add Color Splash and/or Recolor to their basic editors? Once upon a time they didn't include a crop tool (not that some huge %age of people seem to know how to use it!) and other tools I had to buy. I don't care for monopolies but if developers are acting in concert with each other on the cost of apps (and g-d subscriptions!) there may as well be one already.

Response from developer

We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns about pricing. We strive to provide value for our users while supporting our development costs. We randomly offer weekly, monthly, and year subscription offers; each subscription plan unlocks all the features, so there is no need to purchase each feature separately. You can pick any plan to do your Color Splash work and cancel anytime. No long-term commitment is needed. Besides the Color Pop feature, we provide multiple features like colonizing old vintage images, applying exposure, etc. We hope you will give the app another try as we add more features in the coming months.

Adverts

Good app but very limited compared to similar softwares and very expensive, highlighted by the fact that subscription is charged WEEKLY! Amazed if regular amateur users are paying £150 per annum!
In addition far too many very long adverts, ok I get that you want to persuade people to buy the subscription but I am sure that others will be completely put off as I have been. Look again at your fee structures.

Too much to list

I use the app a good bit, however I refuse to pay the watermark removal by the week. I use several apps to edit photos and they have a monthly or yearly fee I pay . Paying weekly is crazy. I wish there were more options for editing on the free part but I’m happy with what I use it for.

Disappointed

I used the old version of this application it was so much more what happened to the editing portion of the app before I could basically do anything it was fun to waste sometime on now I’m just disappointed that your team felt this is a better version than before I feel like you sold out to some big tech company and then they go and ruin it for profits

Just the picture

Great app, with lots to choose from and easy to use. Highly recommend

Slowwwwwwwwwwwww!

Okay so I have had this app for quite some time. When it works (rarely) it’s great but most of the time is stays on the same page almost in a frozen state. During this time you can’t do anything. You end up having to force close it and reopen it but that does not always work. Sometimes I have to go into my edited photos and change a few things and then try back but that does not always work. Very frustrating to say the least.

But like I said when it does work it’s great. After going through the reviews I have seen the same thing plaguing others for years. I hope you all have an update coming to fix this or at least a reason it does this.
