Terrible user experience
I have spent over an hour jumping between DSTV and Showmax trying to link the accounts. Things are constantly timing out and showing errors. This is what monopoly does. When you don’t have the voice of another service, they can give shoddy service and still stay in business. Very sadAndrew Timberlake
The App is pants
9 out of 10 times, trying to log in, you have to delete the App and re-download it. You either get an add for a program you will never watch covering the page or 1, w or 3 magical dots, that cannot be bypassed
There is a link to watch now, that either takes you to the web browser or another App, both of which have the magical 3-dots

Most confusing sign up ever
I signed up for DStv yesterday. Premium package. Thatt took 11 days! Finally found an agent/call centre operator who was prepared to help. 1,5 hours on the phone.
Concluded I would pay R737 pro rata for the month. Paid.
Tried to log into DStv - now have a message I owe a further R396 from last month - before I signed up for DStv!
Here comes more hours on the line with an agent/call centre person who has no clue!

I can’t vote from Ghana or so cos I’ve tried a lot but I don’t know why I am not been passed on the registration.
And I can’t watch the bbtitans shows on my phone app, I don’t know why.awana_wan
