Brilliant with accuracy- frustrating location settings
I have the paid version of this app and have used it for many years. Its accuracy for rain and clouds is brilliant, love the prediction of “light rain in 30 min” etc. It was perfect while working as a photographer and organising client outdoor session on an overcast or rainy day. However it has one frustrating aspect. Not always, but more often then not you will need to manually re-enter your location before seeing weather data. The search bar drop down is partially obscured by the search box itself and then it stores every entry so if you go to click on a previous location you will find about 20 of the same one. Occasionally when I travel it will pick up my location but 95% of the time I have to manual enter. It gets momentarily better after an update but then reverts back. You put in your start location and end location, time of day you are starting, then it produces a map with weather at locations along your route for the time you will be there. Nothing better than that when motorcycling. That means forewarning of what is ahead so you can adjust your riding gear to prepare.Show lessTPDavies
Unusable on the whole
full screen ads that take over the phone and can’t be removed. Even after many minutes. I understand the company needs to advertise to make revenue but the adverts go full screen with no way to remove them. Then another pops up completely full screen and never disappears. The company keeps saying they need to include advertising which is fine. But this type of invasive advertising just makes the user delete the app which seems to be what most reviewers are complaining about. Responding by saying you need to include adverts isn’t an acceptable response. Neither is offering a pay version. I wouldn’t consider paying for such an application when the free version is so unusable due to how adverts are implemented.Show lessFranklin45jk

The app is basically unusable now. The ads pop up within moments and go for so long. As soon as you are able to click the x and check the weather another long drawn out ad for wordscapes appears. Disappointing as I liked this weather app.amac08

Great detail in the app but purchasing an app free version does not work. I bought it at start of February and still have to wait through annoying games every time I open the app.dhrrfu

I just downloaded to check the weather on my trip. Every time I touch on navigate it shuts down. I try to go to settings and the main screen minimizes but not enough to change settings or do anything. I will also, just stick to the web site version. Much better than the app. What a shame it doesn’t work.Show lessusmcstimp

I have used Morecast’s website for years before going on a road trip. I was excited to learn they had an app. However, the app crashes during each attempt to use the navigation feature. The main reason I use more cast to begin with.
I will continue to use the website, but I hope they update the app soon.Show lesswibbit2
